Chapter 7

Your POV:

I got to work on my computer, I decided about trying to get one of the files on the list my boss gave to me. I had atleast 15 files I needed to swipe. This was gonna take a while.

I typed and clicked. Finally I found my loophole. I hacked away and stopped until I figured out a quick plan to slow down 707.

I decided to give him a virus and then swipe as many files as I could.

I was hacking into the system when I noticed there were more walls and they were modified. "Hmm, he didn't do the best job of upgrading, they're only
.629% better." I said to myself.

I got through easily and quickly gave 707 a virus. I didn't give him one where it would cause major damage. I just gave him a simple virus to simply slow down his computers by 50%.

I swiped one file away, first one was done. Now another one. That's when my screen started flashing again. Uh oh, he's gonna try and talk to me again.

I hit voice changer on the mic of my headset. The little red dot appeared and he spoke, "Hey! Who are you?! What are you doing?!"

I was nervous and didn't answer.

"I can hear you! Answer me!" He demanded. I realized I was breathing rather loudly into my mic and pushed my mic away a bit.

"Why are you taking my files?" He asked.

"..................it's my job..." I whispered. Just barely loud enough for him to hear.

We talked for a few seconds before he offered to set up a chatroom. He was still trying to ask me things so I just decided to get the chatroom myself, naming him 707 and me, (username).

"Hey! I wanted to do that!" He whined.

I giggled a bit.

That's when I heard a SLAM!

I typed into the chatroom

Username: don't say or type anything.

My bedroom door opened and my boss yelled at me, lecturing me for not being fast enough. I told him I needed more time.

He was getting angry. My boss was super harsh and probably the worst boss you would ever meet but I liked my job and I didn't care if I had to have him as a boss to keep it.

I could tell things were going to get heated. I deleted the chatroom and shut my computer system off, ending the voice call.

"Y/N, why did u just turn off your computers?!" My boss yelled.

"I-I..."

"Are you not doing your job!?" He yelled, his face getting red. My boss had the worst temper.

Also....he was abusive. Not towards the other members, only me. I have no idea why.....but he seems to hate me.

I would quit but I love my job.....and I promised I wouldn't. Either way....they would hunt me down and kill me if I left. They can hire people to track and kill me.

"Y-yes sir. I am. I-I just had a small v-virus....that's it." I said gaining a bit of confidence. Me being only (17-20) could not defend myself against this man. My boss was huge and he was 38 years old.

"Don't talk back to me!!!!" He screamed. He slapped me across the face really hard and pushed me back.

"Now, what were you doing?" He asked again, calmer, but still demanding.

"I was doing my job...." I whimpered. He threw me against my wall.

"Liar!!!!!!! What were you doing?!?!" He yelled.

"Sir.....I'm telling the truth..." I pleaded.

He punched me once in the jaw. His eyes clicked and he became more calm. "I have something to take care of quick. I'll deal with you later." He threatened me.

I sat on the floor, clutching my swollen cheek. I could tell a big bruise was forming already.

I got an ice pack from my fridge. I held it against my cheek. I have become more strong. He had beaten me way worse than that, so I am used to it. It no longer makes me cry when he punches me once.

I would tell my parents but they left me alone when I was 13. They left one day and never came back. Taking my little sister with them........I miss her so much.

I logged onto my computer again. I hacked away and made another chatroom. Something was telling me to talk to 707. I don't know what it was, but I had to follow it.
