Chapter 21

707 POV:

Lilith is alive. I may not know her well but it is still very amazing that she's alive. After 4 years of torture...there's only one other person who I know has gone through that....

If anything I can relate deeply to how Y/N is feeling. Knowing that your sibling is alive, even if they are being tortured. I mean we both have been separated from our siblings, I have just recently found Saeren again after all those years. Me and him are not on the best terms at the moment but we are still working on that.

Seeing Y/N happy makes me happy, and I am so glad I get to help her save Lilith.

We both go to Y/N's house and she sighs and falls back onto her couch. "So much has happened in the past three days.." she trails off and her eyes wander to the calendar.

"Y/N?" I ask and follow her gaze. I walk over to the calendar and look at the box marking tomorrow. In pen it reads Lilith's 13th birthday.

Her birthday is tomorrow?!?? My goal is to get her out before tomorrow or at least somewhere early tomorrow so we can try and celebrate her birthday. And if not tomorrow, then when we get her out we will celebrate it!

I go back over to Y/N and sit down next to her. She sighs and looks at me, "Thank you so much Luciel for helping me. It means so much.....you could have easily said no and just went on your way but no. You chose to stay and stand by my side and I can't thank you enough."

"Hey, it's my pleasure! I want to see you happy and if this will make you happy again, I wouldn't miss it for the world." I reply to her, smiling. She blushes.

She then blushed even redder and looks away.

"Y/N? What's wrong?" I ask her, concerned.

"Uhm...it's nothing. I just.....uh.....hi?" She says, and fiddled with her fingers.

"You really need to work on your lying skill." I chuckle. "Come on, what is it?"

"Uh....it's too embarrassing." She says.

"Cmon! We're friends now! We can do embarrassing stuff around each other!" I laugh.

"Um...not this though." She mutters.

"Hmm? Please tell me. I won't judge you for it I promise." I say and hold up my hand, putting up my pinky.

"Pinky promise." I say and smile.

She looks at me and rolls her eyes, giggling a bit. She puts her pinky up and links her pinky with mine.

"Ugh! Okaaaay. But you really can't judge me for this....and I hope this won't affect our friendship." She whispers the last part.

"It won't." I say and chuckle.

"Okay.....um......you know about an hour ago...before my phone rang.....at the field..." she trails off.

"Y-yeah?..." I stutter and blush, remembering what almost took place there.

"W-were you....um....were you going to.....k-k-kiss m-me?...." she stutters out, a beautiful blushing mess.

A thought comes into my head and I give her a small smirk.

She then goes even more red and her eyes are confused.

"Why don't you find out?" I say in a slight seductive tone, trying to make her freak out a bit. I like messing with her, she is too adorable!!!

"I-I-I uh...." she stutters out.

I pull her in close to me, snaking my arms around her small waist. "L-Luciel?" She whispers.

I get close to her ear and then whisper in her ear, "Would you have wanted me to?"

She nods a bit and then my prank goes into action, I blow in her ear, making her jump back in surprise.

"H-hey!!! Luciel!! That wasn't nice!" She glares at me.

I laugh really hard and fall to the floor. "Hahahahaha!!! You should have seen your face!!! Hahaha!!" I laugh out.

Y/N then gives in, giggling.

I then sit back up on the couch. Getting a bit more serious.

"Really though....you wanted me to?" I ask.

She goes red again and nods slightly.

"Hmm....okay then where were we?" I whisper, pulling her close once again. And I lean in, our noses almost touching.

SLAM!!

What the hell was that?!

Y/N jumps back and her face gets drained of all color. She looks at me with tears in her eyes and whispers, "Luciel....hide."

I look at her confused and then my mind clicks. Her boss. She hasn't been working for a whole day and her boss would be so pissed off.

I grab her arm and run to her room, hiding in the closet. "Luciel!! What are you doing? He knows I'm here!" She whisper yells.

"He won't hurt you! Not If I can help it! I don't want him laying his filthy hands on you ever!!" I whisper yell. I put my finger to my lips, telling her to be quiet.

"Y/N!" A deep voice booms through the house.

"Get your ass out here!!" He yells.

We hear footsteps searching through the house, bursting open doors and slamming them shut. We then hear him say, "She must not be hear at the moment, she'll have a huge price to pay when she gets back."

We hear glass shatter and a loud crash.

The door slams shut and we are left alone in silence.
