Kathy POV I woke up and remembered that today was the day that my family and I were to go on a picnic. I went into mom's room and asked what time she was leaving. She said in half an hour so go get ready and I was supposed to carry a bathing suit. I went into the bathroom and showered and brushed my teeth and put on my red and white striped shirt with my ombre shorts which was white and jeans and my converse and my sunglasses.

I put my hair in a neat bun and searched for a bathing suit. I finally found one.

I went downstairs to watch some TV. Twenty five minutes later my family came down the stairs and said the were ready. I picked up my phone and followed them through the door. After driving a while I saw dad pull up in front of a park that looked amazing with a big water fountain in the middle and a waterfall at the back. It was amazing I now realized why mom said to carry a bathing suit. Mom found a spot to lay the two blankets so we lay it down and put the picnic basket in the middle. Mom took out fruit salad, vegetable salad, soup, chicken, lasagna and lots more. After eating I felt stuffed I lay down and Josh made a joke. I laughed and then groaned because my tummy was so filled if I laughed it would hurt. After our food digested we took turns going behind a big tree to change. I let down my hair and put it in a ponytail. Mom had in her red bathing suit with a big bow at the back which was clip on and clip off so it could come on and off. Josh and dad had on dead swimming shorts. We packed up the things and carried it beside the waterfall where it wouldn't get wet and we could see it clearly. I jumped in and regretted it because the water was freezing cold. After chattering my teeth and trying to swim the water became a little warm. I decided to go to the back of water. I told mom and she said don't be too long. I swam pretty fast around the water until I made it to the back. I swam around and lounged in the water. After some minutes I decided to go back around to the front when I heard a male voice. I swam all the way to the back of the water and because I could hold my breath for a long time I went under water. When I saw a blurry back facing me so I decided to take a peek up. Just as I did I saw the body turned around and what I saw shocked me.
