One More Day

Kathy POV
I wake up excited because there was just one day till the pool party. I want to surprise Brendan by wearing my sexy bath suit. I am sure he's going to love it. I went into the bathroom to do what I have to do. I come out of the bathroom and run over to the wardrobe. I pick on a white muscle tee with a Jeans Pants that reach right under my knees and my black ankle boots. I hurry downstairs where I smell the most amazing thing. Pancakes, waffles, fruit, orange juice and bacon. I run into the kitchen to say good morning to my parents and then I go into the living room to say hi to Josh. When I do he looks at me weird and say why are you so happy I shrugged with a big smile on my lips and say can't a girl be happy. I go into the kitchen to tell mom to hurry and finish with that delicious breakfast. She laughed and said slow down honey. Dad chuckled and said I know the food smells good but smells can trick you. Mom playfully punched him on his arms and we all laughed. Mom thankfully was finished soon and we were all sat down at the table eating. Dad asked Josh and I about school and I shrugged and said so far so good he asked about my grades and I said there slowly improving he smiled and said good to know. I was finished eating and kissed my parents goodbye. Brendan met me outside and I hopped in his car. We kissed good morning and he drove off. He slowly pulled up in the school's parking lot. We got out and he hugged me. Essence came up to us and said girl you better get off my man. Brendan frowned and I told him that I got this. I smiled sweetly and said last time I check you didn't even kiss him so how is he your man. She scoffed and said so how would you know that. I smiled even bigger and said because he'll never be with a clown such as you. She pushed me and I said that's the last straw. I pushed her so hard that she fell on her bum. She got up and started pulling at my hair. I put a handful of her hair in my hand and dragged her off me. I started punching her face and she only got to throw one or two punches in my face. I slapped her across her face and I was going to do so much more but Brendan pulled me off her. I looked at her and she got a bloody nose. I laughed at her and said think twice about your actions. Brendan and I walked into school before the bell rang. I went to my locker. I grabbed the books I needed and kissed Brendan later and made my way to class. As soon as I sat down the bell rang. I opened my books and started doodling until the teacher came in. The bell rang signalling that it was now my next period. I ran to my locker and exchanged my books and made my way to English. It was my favorite class so it was pretty easy. Next I had History which was hard but I made it by. Suddenly the bell rang for lunch and I hurriedly went into the cafeteria. Before I know it the school day pasts in a blur and I'm already home. I honestly don't feel like doing anything so I just go to bed to get ready for the party tomorrow.
