Kathy POV I opened the door and was surprised to see Brendan standing there. He had on a a shirt with pants and white shoes and a watch.

He looked hot. I said you look nice he said you look breath taking I blushed and said want to come in he nodded and I let him in. Mom asked who is it I said the boy next door my dad immediately came into the living room and said hello sir Brendan went up to him and shook his hand. I said mom come here please she came and I said mom and dad this is Brendan Brendan this is my parents. They shook hands and mom said oh darling why don't you stay for dinner it was like dad didn't want Brendan to say yes because when Brendan said yes I would love to dad immediately glared at mom and stomped into the kitchen. After sitting in the living room and talking with Brendan Josh came home and showered and when he was finished and put on his clothes mom called us all to the dining table where all the food was. I saw a bowl of chicken in the middle and beside it was a bowl of punch. There was five plates and a small plate beside each with held fruits. Mom shared out the food for all of us and we sat down while mom prayed. When mom was finished I smiled because then I could dig in to my food. After eating and belching and watching TV and thanking my parents for having him over Brendan decided to go home. Before Brendan went away and mom, dad, Josh, Brendan and I were in the living room Josh asked us if we were a couple. I choked on my water that I was sipping and said what? He said are.....you....guys....dating I rolled my eyes because he was talking to me like I was a child I said I know what you said but we're not a couple and you can ask Brendan all eyes went to him and he shifted uncomfortably. He said she's right we aren't dating um....I should go now. He got up and said bye to everyone and went through the door. Dad looked at me and said I don't like that boy I laughed and said when have you liked any boy who isn't Josh who gets near to me. I went into the kitchen to wash up. I went into the shower and bathed and put on my pajamas and told my family that I was going to sleep.
