Kathy POV When the body turned around I was shocked to see......Brendan staring at me with his mouth hanging open. He looked me over because at that point I was standing up. I blushed when he smirked he had on a sexy swimming shorts.

That kinda matched the color of mine. I said what are you doing here he said my family and I are having a picnic I said me too he said really. He started walking over to me and to my surprise splashed water on me still in shock he did it again. I said Brendan come her he backed away slowly before he turned around and tried trudging through the water but I was faster so I jumped on his back and we both went down. I was the first to come back up and I tried to run away but he caught my waist and pulled me back into his chest. He said you're not going anywhere I just nodded he splashed me and his hand accidentally touched my butt I gasped and turned around and saw him blushing which was kinda cute. He said sorry about that I didn't mean to I said I know anyways I dunked him under the water but he didn't come back up. It was a minute gone and he hasn't come back up I started to worry. I started calling his name but no answer or signal. Another minute passed and I started fretting. I felt someone tap my back I jumped around in fright and screamed but I saw it was Brendan. I punched his arm as hard as I could but he only laughed. I said how could you have me worrying and then frighten me you stupid head. He said aw you were worrying I said shut up and started swimming away but a hand pulled me back. He said I have a question he looked serious so I asked him quickly what it is. He said yesterday why did you kiss me and what did it mean I blushed and said I told you I was going to surprise you and I couldn't think of anything so I just did that he said oh I asked in the photo booth what did yours mean he blushed and said because you said serious I wanted to do silly oh and I have the pictures I said oh yeah I forgot to take them. After a while of playing and splashing each other we decided to go back around to the front. When we both reached Josh looked between the both Brendan and I and started wiggling his eyebrows I rolled my eyes and went for my towel to dry off. I dried my hair with the towel and then dried my body and put on back my clothes. I went to sit on the grass and watch my family play around in the water I took of my shoes and went to go and put my foot in the part where no one was splashing water. I was just scrolling through IG when a message popped up. It was from Brad. He texted hey, wanna go out tomorrow I said hey, how did you get my number he texted remember we exchanged numbers Thursday before the carnival I replied back and texted oh, and I would love to go he texted OK I put up my phone and dried my feet and put back on my shoes. I lay on the grass until my crazy and loving family finished playing.
