Kathy POV I woke up and went into the bathroom to shower. I brushed my teeth and put on my white tank top with my cardigan and my Jeans with my ankle boots. I went downstairs and mom said to mix cereal because she's going to buy groceries later. I went into the kitchen and made myself a bowl of Fruits Loops. When I was finished I washed up and texted Brendan to come pick me up. Five minutes later he came. I told him that I wanted to learn how to drive. He said he was going to teach me one day. He sped off to school. When he pulled up I came out. I went inside and Brendan pulled me to his chest and kissed me. I smiled against his lips and deepened the kiss. Just as I was about to pull apart I heard someone clear their throats. It was Ms.Blake. I blushed and whispered whoops. Brendan chuckled and pecked me once more and made his way to class. I sighed because I had Ms.Blake right now. I made my way to class and sat down wanting the day to hurry and finish. As soon as the bell rang I was practically the first person to come out of the classroom. I went to my locker to put in and take out some books. I made my way to second period. I sat down and started singing a song quietly. The song I was singing was 'Shape Of You' by Ed Sheeran. When the teacher stepped in I started humming the song. Thankfully the teacher just gave us a page to review in which I didn't because I could read it at home so I took the opportunity to open the book, put it really close to my face and sleep. It was when I heard the book slammed down on the table I woke up. Mr.Hamilton was looking at me and he said well since you love sleeping you can have a great time sleeping in detention. I gasped and said please sir I can't afford one now I promise I will always be early and I will never ever sleep and the reason I was sleeping was because I read it over five times. He smirked and said okay tell me something you read. I took a ten second glance at the book in front of me when sir closed it. I sighed and whispered here goes nothing. I started speaking well in the Independence of Jamaica many slaves were killed because they were fighting for better pay and better treatment, of course their masters only punished them and some even killed them but then some people who are now considered heroes in Jamaica decided to step up and fight for the rights of the people. Take Paul Bogle for example even though he was hanged Bogle led a group of small farmers 45 miles to the capital, Spanish Town, hoping to meet with Governor Eyre to discuss their issues, but they were denied an audience. The people of Stony Gut lost confidence and trust in the Government, and Bogle’s supporters grew in number in the parish. Paul Bogle and George William Gordon were later hanged. This was later called the Morant Bay Rebellion. But those two did a great significance and was honored the title- which is the highest national title in Jamaica- National Hero. The teacher mouth was almost at the floor and his eyes were wide which I suspect I did good. He blinked and then cleared his throat and said well next time this happens you'll have a week worth of detention. I smiled and saw that the classroom was empty so I got up and made my way to the cafeteria. I was so hungry I took two chicken breasts and a bag of fries with a Coke A Cola. I sat down and told my friends that I couldn't wait until Saturday for the party. They all agreed. Courtney asked what I was going to wear I told her I don't know maybe a bath suit. Everyone laughed she rolled her eyes and said do you want to come shopping. I groaned and said no she smiled and said well in that case you are coming. Now it was my turn to roll my eyes. I groaned and said please she grinned and said of course not. I groaned once more and started eating lunch. Time skips to shopping We pulled up at Forever 21 and Brendan said we should call him when we're finished. I groaned and made my way inside. I was looking through some stuff when I found the perfect bathing suit. It was a olive green African Tribal Metallic Bathing Suit.

I took it up and I decided to buy something else to wear over it. I found a green flowing dress that reached my knee and a green flats.

I went to cash it out. I looked around for Eleanor and Courtney and when I found them they were making out. Talk about gross. I cleared my throat and they pulled apart. We made our way from the back of the store so they could find their outfits. Courtney bought a blue two piece which made her eyes look extra amazing and Eleanor bought a black two piece. They cashed it and we called Brendan. He came and picked us up. He dropped me home last since we live beside each other and I kissed him goodbye. I put my things in my room, I ate my dinner, showered and went to bed.
