Kathy POV I woke up and went into the bathroom and showered and brushed my teeth. I dried my hair and straightened it out and put on my white shirt with Jeans Pants and my red converse.

I went downstairs and saw mom looking at me and said how come you didn't tell me you had a boyfriend I looked at her confused and said who are you talking about she said don't play dumb with me I raised an eyebrow and she sighed and said the boy next door I gasped and said mom we aren't a thing she said sure so you go out with a boy numerous times and have fun and he's just a friend so anything you say breakfast is on the table I shook my head and made my way to the kitchen with mom following me. I sat down and said three times isn't numerous she hummed in response and said hurry up and eat. I ate my pancakes quickly and texted Mia to come and pick me up. I heard a car honking minutes later I kissed mom good bye and made my way to Mia's car. She turned on the radio and started singing shape of you which was playing I laughed but joined her. By time we reached school we were both out of breath. When I came out I saw Brendan staring at me I scoffed and said come let's go inside. I heard foot steps close behind me so I turned around and saw Brendan. He said can we talk I rolled my eyes and said why he looked at Mia and said can we get a moment she scoffed and walked off. He said what is wrong with you I pointed at me and said me well I'm not the one who kisses someone and then say that u don't like them or that their not your girlfriend or boyfriend he laughed and said your mad about what I told Matilda I should have known I shook my head and said excuse me he grabbed my hand and said Kathy I do like you but when you have a sister like Matilda you'd like to keep your privacy well a little bit.....private. I smiled and said OK lover boy he said don't call me that lover girl I laughed and said oh and I am not sorry that I got mad on you and walked into class only to see Mia running from the door. I went up to her and said you were eavesdropping weren't you she looked shock and said me I gave her a pointed look she said maybe.....no....yes Jesus yes I did eavesdrop I smiled and said I know you too well she said tell me about it. Time skips to after school I hugged Mia goodbye and went inside and took a shower and put on my favorite sweater dress with matching slippers.
