The soft meowing of a certain gray cat awoke Halona from her deep slumber.

"Shhhhhhh I'm trying to sleep." She slurred. Another meow.

"I said be quiet damn it." Halona said sleepily. Felicia tilted her furry head and used her paw to swat at the girls hair. Halona groaned and finally admitted defeat.

"Okay! Okay! I'm up!" Halona muttered, opening the doors first so she wouldn't hit her head. The cat happily jumped out and roamed the room in search of food. Halona smiled and looked out the window. The darkness was all she could see from the night.

"Have I been asleep that long?" She asked herself. Felicia meowed, standing at the door.

"Heh, yeah I'm hungry too." She looked over at the clock and saw it was past midnight, everyone would be asleep by now.

"Hm, I guess we're on our own cat." Halona said. Quietly she snuck out the door and tiptoed through the long hallways, with a dimly lit candle lighting her way.

"Wow it sure is scary down here." Halona whispered to herself. She snuck her way into the kitchen, searching for any kind of food. The girl was mostly searching for sweets but of course the chef had hid them.

"Hungry?" Asked a voice behind her. Halona quickly grabbed the knife from her left boot that she always hid. The girl expertly threw the knife at the man. Fear rose up once the butler caught the knife casually between his two fingers.

"Excellent reflexes, you should be careful. Throwing knives isn't very lady like Miss." Sebastian said, smirking at the girl.

"Sebastian. . . Sorry about that. Just instinct I suppose." Apologized the girl. The demon butler smiled and handed back her blade.

"No need to worry Miss. It takes more than a simple children's toy to hurt me." Sebastian said. Halona glared at the man.

    "Children's t-"

"Whatever are you doing wandering this late at night Miss?" He asked. Halona looked down at the cat then back at the butler.

"We were hungry." She said. Sebastian put on his fake smile and tilted his head.

"Is that all? Well you did go to bed early so I suppose that makes sense. Here," he said, slightly pushing her into the dining room. "I shall make you something to eat." Halona stopped at shook her head.

"No no I could not ask you to do such thing for me this late at night. I would hate to bother yo-"

"Nonsense, it is no trouble at all. I have trouble sleeping anyways so this shall give me something to do." He said, smiling.

"If you say so. . . Oh! Don't forget to make Felicia something she's hungry too." Sebastian smirked and looked down at the kitten next to the girl.

"Of course, I was planning to do so anyways. I shall be back with your dinner shortly." Halona smiled as the butler walked off.

"He seems nice." Halona told the cat. Felicia meowed and sat on her lap.

"You what? You like the butler?" She asked. Felicia meowed again.

"You're a cat! You can't have feelings for a mortal."

    Meow.

"What do you mean he's not mortal?"

    Meow.

"A demon? How silly! You must be very hungry, you're not thinking straight." Halona told the cat.

"Here we are!" Announced Sebastian. He set a plate of food in front of her, along with a smaller plate of fish for the cat and warm bowl of milk.
