Chapter Seventeen: The Letter

"I have never seen that before." Sebastian asked. Halona quickly took out her knife before she realized who she was trying to attack. Sebastian easily grabbed her knife with his hand and lifted it into the air, with the girl along with it. She hung onto the blade tightly, her feet dangling in the air. Sebastian smirked and dropped her.

"As I told you before: Not very lady like." He said.

"Quiet you. What are you doing in here?" She asked.

"I could ask you the same thing. I'm a demon as you now know, we don't need to sleep." He explained. Halona looked down at her feet.

"What were you doing?" He asked.

"Sending a letter to my papa." Halona said quietly.

"Ah, yes. The Undertaker. Tell me, do you know what important business he needed to do, I mean it must be a big deal, he did leave you behind." Sebastian said. The girl glared at him.

"No. . . I don't know." She said through clenched teeth. Sebastian smiled, obviously fake.

"Ah, well it was expected."

"Ohhhh Bassy you're sooo cold you send shivers down my spine!" Said the familiar voice of a certain red head.

"Grell!" Halona shouted happily. She ran towards the reaper and leaped into his. . . I mean her arms. Grell hugged the girl tightly.

"It's nice to see you too my dear. Undertaker was going to send the letter traditionally but once I knew who you were with I just couldn't help myself!" Grell told me. She looked at Sebastian and smirked.

"Bassy!! My love I have come for you!" She shouted, leaping into the air aiming for the butler, only for the demon to step aside letting the red haired woman fall to the ground.

"Love hurts. . ." Said the red head.

"What are you doing here?" Sebastian asked. Grell stood up with a bloody nose.

"I bring a message for Halona. It's from Undertaker." He explained. Sebastian smirked and looked at me.

"My, the letter might answer your questions." Said the demon. Grell walked over and held out the envelope. Halona quickly snatched it, once the she opened the later Grell had run off to swoon over Sebastian.

Dear Halona

I miss you, I miss you with each passing second. It's busy up here and I get so tired, but the image of your smile pops into my head and I can do anything. Do not worry about Phantomhive and his butler. They will not hurt you, if I trust them enough to put you in their hands then you should too. How have you enjoyed your stay? Does Jade like it there? I'm sorry I didn't tell you about her, it was supposed to be a surprise. Well, I'm sure you are very surprised. Grell is fine obviously, since he begged to be the one to send this to you. William is as always, a party pooper and is constantly stressed. Ronald is hurt you forgot about him but nobody likes him so it's okay. I am fine child, though every day is tougher without you here. I'm sure you have some questions about what's going on. I would tell you but that information is only available to official reapers. When your training is done and you've passed your test I will tell you. I know you may be nervous about everything now but I assure you everything will be fine. I will write to you soon.
