I stepped closer, hugging Lillian.
"Why did he do this to me?"
"I have discovered that evil has no sane reason for what it does, but Count Vondrake is a clever and cunning vampire, whom I have just recently learned about," I said.
"The Count sent an assassin to kill us and when the killer doesn't check back in, he'll sent another one," Lillian said.
"That's why the Count is on my short list," I said.
"Short list?"
"Yes he's the only one on my list that I have to kill."
Lillian smiled at the thought of no more Count Vondrake and said, " he's on my short list too."
"Want to look at some stars tonight?" I asked.
"Yes that sounds like a wonderful idea Josh," Lillian said.
She grabbed my arm as we walked down the hallway. The back of the train had a covered section with a bench that faced away from the train. We sat down. The only light there was, was star light. Lillian took my hand and we looked down at the rails that quickly sped out from under us.
"How much further to Tibet?" Lillian asked.
"When we hit the mountainous regions we'll be getting closer," I replied.
"You two can come down now," Lillian said to the top of the train.
The two twins came swinging down and landed on the floor in front of us. They smiled and opened the wooden glass door, then went to the cabin.
"They say that the train has fifteen human and two of them are Shamem Priest that are on their way back to Tibet. They are returning with medicines and candy," Lillian said.
"I understand the medicines, but candy?" I asked.
"I asked them the same thing and they said it was for the old and dying." Lillian answered.
"Now I'm confused, are they warrior or priest?"
