We landed...somewhere....in a green, forest-like place. My head was spinning. We had just....teleported.
"Tally," I choked, unable to believe where we were. "What the freakin' HELL just happened?"
"I can't tell you, not right now anyway." she said, looking around.
What was she looking for? She grabbed my arm and pulled me through the forest.
After ten minutes I asked, "Why don't you just teleport again?"
She scowled but didn't say anything.
A few minutes later, she pulled aside a few ferns and I saw a giant house. It was beautiful, absolutely amazing. It radiated technoology but was also had that old-time feel about it. My breath caught in my throat.
"Beautiful," I breathed.
"Yes, yes, it's lovely." Tally sounded panicked.
We got to the front door. Tally knocked on the door and....
