There was a soft thud and I looked up to see the guy who had glared at me sitting on the window sill. I gasped and jumped back.
"Go," he said, nodding towards the door.
I made the towards the door.
"Not you, silly," he smiled and practically knocked me out.
Carlie smiled at me then left.
"That wasn't nice," I chided.
"Who said I was nice?" he counter-acted.
I sighed and opened the door. Though I'd heard nothing, he was suddenly behind me.
"Don't go," His voice was so irresistible I knew there was no way I would be leaving.
I turned round then started as I saw how close his face was. His golden eyes smoldered and his breath blew against my face, making my head spin.
"Rennie," he whispered. "I could kill you so...easily. So quickly you wouldn't even see your life end."
I should be scared but I just wasn't. And then it all ended.
