                         Jimin

I woke up gasping, struggling to put air in my lungs. Sweat dripped from my face down to my pillow, some embedding my upper lip.

I squeezed my eyes as flashes of my nightmare came back to surface.

The lightning. The jungle. The robed figures. And then, darkness.

"It was just a dream Jimin. Just a dream." I whispered to myself.

"Chimmy honey get dressed or you'll be late for school! Palli!" My mom squeaked from downstairs.

My heart rate slowed down hearing her voice, it anchored me back to reality.

I opened my eyes to find my older brothers face mere inches away from mine.

"Yaahhhh! What are you doing in my room?!" I jumped back on my head board.

He eyed me, examining me from head to toe.

"Mwo? Mwo! What do you want you byuntae?!" I squealed, pulling my comforter up to my chin.

"Who's Aria?" He asked, crossing his lean cut arms.

"Who?" The name didn't sound familiar at all.

He wasn't bulging. "You kept saying it in your sleep. Aria this, Aria that. So who's Aria?"

I opened my mouth to answer.

"And don't try to lie to me about her being a girl from school because as the most popular guy in school, I know damn well there isn't a girl named Aria. Aria isn't even a Hangul name either." He pressed on.

"I don't know okay?! I don't know what the hell I was saying in my sleep because I don't remember. Happy?!" I yelled.

He didn't look convinced at all.

"Jiho stop making your brother yell so early in the morning! At least let him get ready for school before you start!" Mom squeaked.

Jiho rolled his eyes. "Nae Omma!" He turned back to me. "You're such a spoiled brat."

I poked my tongue out at him as he closed my door.

Aria? Who the hell is that? Or maybe it's a thing? Place maybe?

I shook my head. "Don't think about it Jimin. Just get ready for school. It was just a dream."

But I knew I was lying to myself. I've been having these dreams for a while now.

At first they were little flashes. A natural pool with little crayfish inside. A field of plush green grass. An ocean so clear the rocks were visible. And the problem?

I've never been to any of these places. Nor have I ever seen them. But I've pushed them to the back of my mind, telling myself they're not real because I needed to keep my sanity.

Swinging my legs over the bed, I made my way over to the shower.

I was putting on my uniform when my phone vibrated.

One message. I opened it.

Emergency Group meeting today before class starts. Roof top. Don't be late. This is URGENT!

I looked at the time.

7:21?! School starts at 8!

I threw on my vest and blazer, snatched my bag off the chair and rushed out the door.
