"Mrs Jordan whats going on" I say when we enter the art room. She doesnt answer "Hello is anyone in coocooville" I ask waving my hand frantically over her face but she still doesnt answer me.
   When we get to infront of the stage she shoves a mic and a guitar in my hands, an electric guitar in Maddies hand, some batteries in Taylors and a a pair of drumsticks in Xaviers hands and says "all of you up the stage, Taylor put those batteries in the piano" we just stare at here strangely "Rehearsals" thats all she says "I brought you here so you guys could rehearse for the schools talent show" still looking lost "you need to practice to be better cause I heard theres gonna be alot of competion so we're gonna be using any free period you all have together to practice for the talent show" she explains more "Thats cool" Xavier said "Alright then get up on that stage and rock" she yelled.

     We all got on stage "Guys lets play work by Rihanna the way we did in Maddies backyard starting from the second verse." Taylor said "Yeah thats cool" I said.

     After playing on stage we all gathered for a group hug. "Omg we sounded great, Grace you almost sounded like Rihanna and Xavier when did learn how to rap like that it was fantastic" Maddie squealed.
   We all did well. "You guys were awesome, you did well, am proud" Mrs Jordan said smiling "And Grace and Xavier please wait behind after Rehearsals I wanna talk to you." She added turning towards us and we nodded okay.

     The remaining minutes we had we you used it for vocal exercise and then after that Mrs Jordan dismissed Taylor and Maddie which only remained Xavier and I.
  "So I wanna inform you that theres gonna be a duet performance next month, the school wants to pick from every arm of 12th grade two people to sing for Mobile sports sponsorship so they can continue to sponsor us." She said "cool."
"Thats nice."
     Xavier and I said
"Well I want you two to sing for them" she said, ok now that cuts it.
    "No way."
    "Not happening. "
Xavier and I disagreed.
  "I don't see what the problem is." She protested, "look Mrs Jordan I dont sing that much I'm just a drummer" Xavier said which gave me this wierd feeling why would he think he's 'just a drummer'.
     "But that doesnt mean anything, not long ago you sang wonderful with Grace. I didnt just choose you because i felt like, i choose you because your voices together is magnificent, they move in sync."
   
   "Mrs Jordan you've already pushed us to sing for the talent show now this any further i might have to call the the Blue Rangers."

   (Its like their school police, its actually called SIS which means security in school but the notorious ones in school aka Grace call them blue rangers cause their uniforms are blue and the rome around the school alot they're also in charge of giving query notes to teachers who push their students to hard)
    "The song you sang, in the rap he said 'when i see potential i just gotta see it through' just like me i see potential in you two, i see potential in all of you but i choose you to because my heart felt your voices." She said "O so now we follow 'your' heart?" i said putting emphasis in your.
     "Nooo, its that i want you guys to know what your made of so this duet will work well for the two of you and I'll find something for Maddie and Taylor." She said.

   "Okay even if we do this what if they throw up some kind of money for playing, i know am not paying no money" i said "yeah" Xavier backed me up "O Grace why do you have to be so negative?" Mrs Jordan said all grudgly, I roll my eyes at that.

   "Am not negative but Realistic!" i yelled.
  I dont try to be negative i only be realistic, i dont wanna be thinking of a world that could never exist so i just push through with reality so it won't hurt me at the end.
   "Okay if thats the problem I'll pay for the expenses" she said.
    Well duh, would I do it before.

"So then, i guess we're doing this thing?" Xavier said while we were walking to our various classrooms to collect our things before we leave after Mrs Jordan finally freed us.
"Yeah." I said
    I wanted to talk to Xavier about what he said about him being 'just a drummer' but i got cut by him saying "alright so this is my class when am done with getting my things I'll wait for you outside of school." I just nodded.

   On my way outta school after getting my bag I was looking down thinking about how I'll talk to Xavier when.
    Oof.
