Today by far, has been the worst day at school. We all got those friends that are your friends to your face but are the complete opposites behind your back. They forever gossiping and coming up with rumours and when you wonder who made them, it comes down to them.
Well, lately Sabeehah and her bestie Aasiyah have been annoying the hell out of Zahira and I. She’s just sooo damn conceited, like the other day we were speaking about speeches and she was like ‘I’m the Queen of speeches. I should go up and say it for everyone’ like seriously thats sooo narcissistic.
On the other hand Zahira was going out with Suhail while I am stuck in a love triangle. I know that I’m not supposed to disappoint her happiness but seriously we had to speak about it today at recess.
”I’m sooo damn sick of these chicks in our class. Let’s hope that they don’t come and sit with us today. I have to tell you some really
important things” I said as I opened my lunch.
”I know Aasiyah makes like the world revolves around her, but in any case whats going on with you and your love triangle between Aadil and Irshaad. I know you an Aadil are like heleva close I mean you two have been speaking for a whole flipping year and have this flirtationship(more than friends less than lovers), and you only met Irshaad a month ago but you know I like Irshaad more than Aadil… By the way next time you going to meet some of your mums friend’s children dress like a ragg so they won’t look at you and fall inlove with you!’ Naadirah told me as she was batting her eyes when she said ‘flirtationship.’
Well, let me explain. During the December holidays I went to my cousins house to spend a few days when my mum told me that her friend who was divorced was staying in the same town so we decided to visit. it was amazing as they saw each other after 30 years. My mum’s friend had two children: a girl named Tahiyyah and a son named Irshaad. I met Tahiyyah and thereafter met Irshaad. We were all talking outside as the parents spoke inside. Irshaad stood with his friends while I stood with his sister and my cousins. I eventually began speaking to him about school as he mentioned that he was in my grade. As I turned around, I heard him tell my cousin that when he plans to get married then he’s going to come see me!
”I think I should go into pardah.” I said. Zahira replied blaming me but I told her that it wasn’t my fault as I didn’t tell them both to fall in love with me then she said,”True. Nah i think they should start lowering their gazes” that made me laugh. When Zahira said,”thats why its forbidden to go out in Islam.” I took her juice and started spraying it all over her she’s going out with a boy and she wants to give me such advice.
The bell rang and we both walked to the classroom 5 minutes late because Zahira’s clothes got messed so we went to the bathroom and met Zuhair on our way. Damn this dude seriously can’t make up his mind. Now he wants Zahira back and Zahira always falls for his traps seriously I don’t know what she sees in him. He’s been breaking her heart since day one and I hate to see someone doing that to my best friend. As they say “Mess with my best friend and you won’t live long enough to regret it” haha he should definitely beware.
The day passed and I was stressed. I didn’t know what to do. Irshaad told Zahira that he liked me and Aadil and I are in a flirtationship. I don’t know what to do or who to choose. I’ve know Aadil for a year now and he’s amazing. We’ve never had a fight and he’s always there for me through the ups and downs. He some how manages to make me smile when I’m in the worst of moods. I know I can rely on him. He’s quiet but not quiet with me. He really opened up to me and he has an amazing sense of humour. He has dimples which I absolutely adore and he can also cook! …but Irshaad seems like an amazing guy too. He’s better looking than Aadil but I believe looks aren’t everything. Irshaad can also bake (I’ve heard he makes thee best breakfast), he’s kind, loves the outdoors and loves joking around. It’s been a month since I met Irshaad and I only found him recently on twitter so we began talking. It’s almost fate that we met because of our mums. I don’t know much about him but he seems like an interesting person.
