Chapter 5

                Kevin's Pov.

I was stunned, did he just yell? the kid had balls.
''Ok, Sam what the hell was that? And why the hell did you let him yell at you like that?” David growled while glaring up the stairs.
Samantha was still staring at the stairs, she turned to look at us both.
''Sorry I can’t tell you guys, but what I can tell you is that he has been through a hell of a time, and I can’t blame him for yelling at me.'' she managed to say in between small sobs.
''Yeah but he was a douche.'' David kept pressing the matter, does this boy ever learn? I guess not.
''Kevin, just stay for dinner, he can’t turn you down in front of mom and dad.'' she assured me.
I just nodded, when did I agree for this? I didn’t even know about this til she asked him in the kitchen, and I gotta say he hurt my feelings with all that shit he said about me embracing my future as an employee at taco bell, or some shit like that, apparently I had no hope, I'll always be dumb, it did hurt my ego a little but I contained it, I only glared at him just like David had
''Just him, or can I stay too?'' David asked while hugging her,

 The truth is I envied them, what they had, I wanted that so bad, but some chicks only wanted me for a quick fuck, I didn’t mind it, but lately I've been feeling odd,  like I’m missing something, I smiled! If said this out loud, that little twerp would say I’m missing my brain, whoa! Random thought, I guess his outburst left an impression on me.
''Hey Sam.'' I called out her name.
''What?'' She asked as she snuggled with David.
''What happened to him?'' I questioned her while looking up the stairs, she knew who I was referring to and she sighed.
''I shouldn’t tell you, but you already made him uncomfortable yesterday, with the whole car deal, so if he does decide to tutor you, you'll need to know some things.'' she replied with a faraway look on her face.
She looked up again, to make sure he wasn’t coming probably.
''A few months ago his whole family were in a car accident.'' she paused.
Enough said, this was her dad's brother death.
''So he wasn’t with them.'' I slowly stated and she nodded, fighting back her tears.
''Joey and his dad,  had an argument, I guess my uncle didn’t agree of his choice of date that night, something about a bad vibe, and he told Joey he couldn’t go out on his date,  instead his dad invited Joey go with to the family bowling night, he told his dad,' Oh I don’t know about that, it’s just giving me a bad vibe, he stormed off to his room and slammed the door, he didn’t get to say goodbye, he is more sad and in pain cause his dad died thinking his son was mad at him.'' Poor little guy I thought when Sam took a breath.
''About the car, see this boy has cars, motorcycles, he is almost a millionaire, but he just starts hyperventilating when someone suggests he gets into a car, we guess it’s related to his family's death.'' she murmured with tears pouring down her face.
''I miss them too, they were my second family, my lil cousin was only 16 years old and I miss her so fucking much, It kills me that I can’t talk about it because I don’t want to put him through any more pain than he’s already in, I love him so much and I hate that I can’t help him''. She said now in tears and David was hugging her tightly to him.
I heard steps making their way down  to us, I looked up to see Joey looking at Sammy with so much love, he bent down and took her into his arms, me and David just looked at them.
I felt like we were intruding til Joey spoke.
''Cuz, don’t feel like you have to hide your feelings because of me, I know you miss them too.” he cooed next to her ear, while stroking her hair in a soothing way.
''Ok, so to make it up to you and make you a lil happy, I'll tutor your friend right.'' he was trying to make her smile.
Oh shit! he still doesn’t know it’s me, since he only knows me as twat 2, I smiled at the nickname.
Sam stopped crying and looked at him, wiping her eyes like a little girl.
''Really, you will?'' She asked then squealed as he nods his head to answer her.
''Yeah, if it makes up for me being an ass to you.'' he declared.
''So call him and tell him to come here.'' he suggested, David groaned, and I looked at him confusion.
''He won’t want to, once he finds out who it is.'' he stated grunting, I winced, that was true.
''Well, I already told Sammy, and I’m not one to break my agreements.'' he concluded looking determined.
I stood up and stood right in front of him, I was 6'11'', and he was probably 5''11, he looked up to me confused, I on the other hand, couldn’t help but get really close to him, I just wanted to see his eyes don’t ask me why?
Once I saw them I couldn’t believe it, he had one blue eye and the other was green!
I just kept staring at him in awe.
''Dude, ever heard of personal space, because I’m craving some right about now.'' he huffed, clearly annoyed.
''Kevin, don’t freak him out, Joey can tutor you, you need him.'' Sam scolded me and I blushed, Joey turned his eyes to me, and they were wide with surprise.
''Fuck me! You’re Kevin?'' he didn’t sound happy; I nodded with an apologetic smile.
''Question, what did you think his name was.'' David asked.
I snorted and looked at Joey, he turned to look at me and grinned, he look kind of ...Cute? No that’s not it...That can't be it. Can it?
''Well I usually call him twat 2.'' he responded innocently and David and Sam laughed.
''Wait, who's twat 1, and are there more than two?'' Sam asked him, he grinned even more widely, if it’s even possible.
''Well, my beautiful Sammy, twat 1 is your boyfriend and no there’s only two.'' he looked away sweetly avoiding David's glare.
Me and David looked at each other for a bit, I narrowed my eyes, he did the same, I raised an eyebrow he did the same and we burst out laughing, yes we were stupid don't judge us.
''Ok so after dinner, we go up to my room and we go over every subject you’re failing, then we'll go from there, Oh and take this seriously, or I'll drop you.'' That made me stop laughing, I scoffed at what he said, why wouldn't I take this seriously?
David started laughing again.
''Why don’t you just go and make a list of what you’re not failing, it'll be easier and quicker.'' David chirped cheekily.
I glared at him, and was about to punch him, but Joey grabbed my arm to get my attention and I felt little prickling shocks up my arm.
''You're failing all your classes?’’He asked me with wide eyes.
I felt ashamed and softly nodded looking down, not cause of my poor school grades, but because I still felt the sparks since he still had his hand on my arm, and I was feeling butterflies in my stomach and I didn’t know why.
I heard him taking a big gulp of much needed air and let go of my arm, I almost whined when he did but stop myself, I glanced at him and he was pinching the bridge of his nose.
''Ok which class are you not failing?'' He questioned and I winced.
''Gym'', I mumble my answer hoping he didn’t hear me.
''Of course'', he smirked and I rolled my eyes, of course he heard, this is wonder boy we're dealing with.
''Don’t worry, by graduation you'll be there, I'll help you I’m always up for new challenges.'' He stated and walked to the couch to grab his laptop.

''Besides, I get bored without anything to do, I was just killing time til graduation.'' he said to no one in particular while typing on his laptop.

''Ok, got your grades, and we start tomorrow, not a fan to admit it, but twat 1 was right, it was easier you telling me about the only class you’re passing.'' He smirked at my blushing face.
''Um how did you get in to my records?’’ I asked him.
''It’s best if you don’t know.'' Joey replied, I was about to open my mouth to say it was my info and I wanted to know but stopped when we heard a car, Sam's parents were home.

I kept looking at Joey, not to sound gay but he was cute.
It’s ok for a guy to say another guy was cute, right?

I hope so cause if it’s not ok, then I’m in deep shit.
