"Looking spiffy." Shade did a flip and I grinned.
I looked in the mirror, at my ceremonial armor and cloak. The bracers bright white with red trim, the chest plate the same, as we're the legs. I turned around looking at the cloak, a long white cloak golden and red trim, a hunter sigil, crossed with a bright colored flower, pinks and red hues danced around the cloak like falling petals. I nodded to myself, satisfied with the look and headed out towards the courtyard. Giving the occasional hello, and the occasional thank you on the way, I walked out into the massive courtyard, now teeming with people, friends and colleagues alike, tall white columns flanked the stairs, where I assume the ceremony will occur.
I made my way around, shaking hands and thanking them for coming, I found X talking to a familiar Titan a few meters away. I strutted over holding my arms out in greeting.
"Havoc! I'm glad you were able to make it!" We knocked arms and he laughed. "Wouldn't miss it for the world brother. I'll make sure there's no wedding crashers."
I nodded my thanks and turned to X, "This looks amazing!" I grinned happily and his face lit up. "Thanks David, the people worked really hard to put this together."
I pulled him into a hug. "Thank you. For this."
"Hey man, you deserve this. Now go finish getting ready. Your bride will be here soon." He winked and I nodded.
"Alright sounds good!"
"She should be here in, uh about an hour. Arya will get her all prepared. Leave it to us." He nodded towards the warlock girl also wearing traditional robes and I gave her a wave. She smiled widely waving back mouthing her congratulations.
I patted X on the shoulder and made my way back behind the scenes taking a seat at a large table watching everyone working to perfect the decorations.
I tilted my head back looking at the cloudy blue sky, admiring the beauty of it. We fight to preserve this beauty don't we?
Absolutely David. Get your head in the game, it'll be time before you know it.
Shade snapped me back to reality and time flew by like nothing. I looked out at the skyline watching Ryan's large cruiser fly into the tower hangar. The time has come.

The wind was blowing, the music was playing, and I was here nervously starting to sweat as the formal March began to play. My eyes were glued to the tent at the end of the path anticipating the moment she would strut out.
As if on cue, Arya walked out holding the tent open and my mind went blank. All previous thoughts gone. Along with my breath. I stood absolutely starstruck as my future wife strutted from the tent, her dress flowing gracefully across the ground, the white and gold practically glowing in the light. Almost Angelic. A huge smile was plastered across my face but I could tell she was just as nervous as I. I shuffled nervously and she looked up meeting my eyes. Her eyes shone with tears, her face glowed with pure joy. And mine did too. As she finally reached me and the music slowed to a stop, the Speaker himself stood at the Altar book of the Traveler in hand. I nodded my regards and he did the same.
She stood before me, and I took her hands in mine as the Speaker began.

"First, we would like to express our thanks to all who came today. This is a great day for the light, and for all Guardians."

I looked out over the crowd and saw my team all sitting together on the front row. Ryan winked and I nodded to them all.

The speaker continued.
"And we would like to express our gratitude to these wonderful Hunter's, and to Fireteam Lupi for everything they do for the Tower. They definitely are the best of the best." My team cheered and fist bumped each other. X nodded in my direction from the back and I returned it.

"On this glorious day, we join David Anthony Miller, and Alessia Alexandra Nios in Holy matrimony.
Do you, Alessia Nios, take David Miller to have and to hold, to protect unto thy last breath, to serve faithfully with blade and bow?"

"I do. " Her voice cracked and her smile was accented by a few tears running down her face.

"And do you, David Miller, take Alessia Nios to have and to hold, to protect, and to serve faithfully with blade and bow?"

"I do." I squeezed her hand in support.

"Then by the Light of the Traveler, you may kiss the bride." He lowered the book and I swooped her down kissing her softly and the courtyard erupted in cheers. My team cheered the loudest, clapping hands and Ryan fired a solar blast into the sky, detonating it with a flash almost like fireworks.

Shade appeared beside me as Spectra showed herself as well. They bumped into each other happily chatting.

Then a loud bang ripped through the cheering.
And the courtyard erupted into chaos.
