In an instant, we went from proud, to scared. No. Terrified.

At least I was.

"Lupi, Dragonbreath maneuver! Let's floor this prick!"

Havoc summoned the Dragonbreath, I reloaded my Thunderlord and Alessia summoned her arc sword in one hand, and a backwards dagger in the other.

"Go! Lux, lay down suppressing fire! Draw his attention!"

"You got it. Ferus go high, Arya, fire blasts! Mason, go left, go for the joints! Plastic explosives." Leo ordered, and they all started.

"Lupi, charge!" With a cheer, we charged at the hulking warrior. He swung his blade, I flipped over it, planting an explosive on it. Alli leapt from the wall, slashing at Crota's head. Havoc shoulder charged his knee, taking him off balance. "Ryan! Flame on!"

Ryan grinned through his helmet, and activated his flame aura. "Eat shit ugly!" He unleashed a barrage of blue and purple flames unto Crota.

I drew a knife, and tied an impact grenade around it. "Here we go!" I threw the knife with all my strength. It buried itself in Crota's eye and exploded inside his socket. He screamed in pain, and kicked Havoc across the room. He hit the opposite wall hard with a thump.

"Havoc! No!" Ryan's fire erupted with his rage, engulfing Crota completely. He screamed in rage, the flames heat intensifying.

I stood back, the scorch singeing my cloak. I tore it off, the flames reducing it to ash. "Ryan stop! Don't use up all your energy!" The flames began to revert to orange, and Crota - no longer crippled - swatted him down, smashing him into the ground. Alessia dropped to my side. "It's just us. Havoc is out cold and I can't see Ryan."

"Shit..what about Lux, where'd our support go?"

"They're dealing with another batch of hive that Crota spawned."

I summoned both my handcannons, my Thunderlord out of ammo. "For the Traveler!" Crota slammed his sword down, we sidestepped, and leapt onto the blade sprinting up.

Impossible! Die insects! Crota screamed in my brain.

I screamed in rage, throwing two grenades to soften my entry. They exploded in his face, canceling his eye lasers. I leapt into a kick, spearing his head and flipping back as Alli followed up with a massive surge slash from her sword.

Crota roared in pain, falling to one knee. We both fell to the ground, and grinned seeing crota crippled. "Fire!" we pulled out rocket launchers, and fired upon him. One by one, they barraged his flesh, blowing off chunks of his armored hide.

He bellowed angrily, and backhanded me to the side. I flew like an ant, getting crushed against the wall. My helmet cracked, and fell off now broken. Blood plastered my face, as I looked blurrily unto the battle. Alli was locked in a vicious, lightning fast sword battle. I tried to get up. I fell to the ground, searing pain shooting up my back. My leg was broken. I raised a handgun weakly, firing at Crota. My vision dim, I only made one shot. Them I felt a firm grip on my arm, lifting me to me feet.

"On your feet! Tuck, heal his leg!" it was Leo! His green ghost appeared and began healing up my leg faster than anything I've ever seen. In seconds I was able to walk again. Leo primed a grenade, and threw it back at the approaching hive force. Ferus kicked a Knight back, but was also blasted back by a follow up shot. He rolled to his feet, beside us. "Where's Arya?" Leo shouted over the gunfire.

"I don't know! I lost her in the crowd!" Ferus replied, firing his pulse rifle into the crowd.

I spun around, just as I heard a roar I knew anywhere. Havoc stormed across the room, a massive wave of lightning in his wake. He charged Crota with force I've never seen before. Crota flew off his feet, slamming into the back of his stand. Havoc leapt onto his chest, and began slamming his fists down on him. Crota attempted to grab him and I set off the explosive I'd planted earlier. The sword exploded in his hand, giving Havoc more time to do damage. Alli hung from the ceiling, sword ready to make the plunge.

"All soft for ya!" Havoc laughed and jumped back. Alli dropped down at lightning speed, plunging her sword into his chest. Crota roared with anger, and she channeled arc energy into it. Blue light shone from his orifices, like he was a Lantern. He tried swinging at her, but Havoc grabbed his hand, holding it down. I ran as fast as I could, leaping onto his head, the green flames burning my armor. But I didn't care. We'd won. I aimed my hand cannon at his head, with a smirk. "Any regrets oh tough Crota? Too bad."

My finger pulled back, and an explosion rocketed me off to the side. I slid across the ground, slamming into a nearby pillar, the world fading to black.
