"Cayde. You needed to see me?" I entered the Vanguard Hall, my boots clacking against the concrete floor as I approached the Hunter vanguard Cayde-6.
"Yes. Thanks for coming so soon. I was starting to think you forgot about me" He laughed.
"How could I forget about the great and mighty Cayde?" I raised an eyebrow expecting a witty answer.
"Okay. In all seriousness, I have a mission for you." He pulled out a holo map and handed it to me. I took it, observing the contents.
"On this map, we have the location of 3 of the 4 shards. We believe the fourth one is here." A large structure appeared and he pointed to a chamber, the Chamber highlighting itself."It's believed to be in some kind of device located in this main chamber. You can take a team, or you can go solo. Your choice. Dismissed." Cayde took the map back and went back to his duties.
I left the hall making my way towards the weapon shop. If I was going to do this, I'd need some ammo.I walked up the small steps, and walked over to the stand observing the types of ammunition. "I'll take 3 cases of solar ammunition. Special, and regular." I pointed to 3 orange boxes and the vendor nodded handing them over to me.
I placed my glimmer on the desk and nodded my thanks.
These will do nicely. I began to walk off when I was stopped by a familiar voice."David! Wait up! You're not going on a mission without me are ya?" Alessia bounded over to me, Spectra--her ghost,- whizzing along behind her.
"Of course not. I knew you'd meet me here". I grinned and Shade appeared beside me. "Ready to go team?" he flew in a circle before landing in my hand.
"Take us up Shade . Let's get to work."
