Chapter 5

"Congrats girly!" Aria smirks as the girls approach Chanel

"Who would've thought Chanel would be the first one out of us three to move in with a guy and talk about engagement?!" Kendal jokes

"You know what Ken, I'll give you that one!" Chanel admits

"It really is a surprise though." Aria joins in

"Yeah I mean looking at your past with guys...who would've known you'd settle down so quickly with this one."

"I know I know. He's just....so different! He's changed me. He really has."

"You do look happier every time we see you." Aria smiles

"And glowing......but that's probably from the sex."

Aria playfully slaps Kendal's arm as they all laugh.

"Girl get your mind in the right place! It's not just about the sex." Chanel chuckles

"I'm just saying. The stories I be hearing..." Kendal puts her hands up

Aria does the cross on her chest.

"What's that supposed to mean?!"

"I'm asking god to forgive you for your sins!"

Now Kendal playfully slaps Aria on the arm as they all laugh hysterically.

"Can you guys help me move the rest of my stuff tomorrow?" Chanel asks

"Of course. What time?"

"Depends if you guys are partying tonight..." Chanel side eyes Kendal

"Bitch this is our party for the night! I'm drained!" Kendal raises her eyebrows

"Is 12 good? I have my last class at 8." Aria suggests

"Yeah that's fine. How's school going by the way?" Chanel asks

"Good. I can't complain. Though I am ready for summer break!"

"And summer is ready for you girl you are pale! You look like you're allergic to the sun." Kendal looks Aria up and down

"How are you gonna call me pale when I'm naturally tan?! I think you've had one too many to drink!"

"I only had 1 beer! You know I'm classy when there's family around."

"Speaking of family." Chanel changes the subject. "What do you think of his?"

"We only talked to his 2 sisters but they were really sweet." Aria admits

"It felt like they were one of us."

"I sometimes get this vibe that his family doesn't like me but then other times they're welcoming and loving." Chanel opens up

"You're probably just tripping. You plan on marrying their son/brother of course you want them to love you. Just be yourself and trust me they will." Aria comforts her

"Thanks Ar." She smiles and hugs her

"It's getting late we should get home if we're gonna help out tomorrow." Kendal checks her phone

"Right. Thank you so much for coming tonight! Get home safe."

Chanel hugs the girls as she walks them over to the front of the house.

"Tell Dig we said thanks for having us!" Kendal shouts from the car window as they start the car ready to leave

The next day;

Aria gets home from her last day of class around 11:30. She's officially on summer break. She goes home to change into shorts, sneakers, & a tank top to go help Chanel move her things into Diggy's house. She decides to call Kendal before heading over to pick her up in case she's still sleeping.
