I was in bed and my alarm went off. "Ugh!!" I hit the snooze button on my phone and woke up. Every morning, I would go through my phone and see what I miss on social media or if I had any text messages. On my phone I saw:

My head was still throbbing so I went to get my medicine to help it stop.
I came back to look at my phone, to know that I'm not going crazy. I saw it again there. I started smiling but i stopped. I can't like Devontae. He's annoying and he's full of himself.
I saw a text and it said:
From Tyler: I'm glad that I was at your service. <3 Wanna hang out soon?
I was smiling but I replied back: To Tyler: Sure, we can hang out soon. I'll let you know when I'm free. xx
Then I realized that I need to get ready for school. I got ready and I was wearing:

I went down stairs to eat breakfast and I saw a note. It says:
Hey Jasmine. Dad and I went to go somewhere so we will be back on Saturday. Love you lots xx

I was a little upset but its what parents do. They come and go. I barely saw my dad so it didn't really bothered me but my mom, I was hurt but I'll be fine. Knowing, I'll be home alone made me want to leave the house faster. So I grabbed a apple and I went to where I go to meet Christelle everyday since freshman year.

I went inside and saw Christelle. She started waving at me. I then took a sit across from her. "Sooooo, How was working with lover boy?" I did not want to talk about it and what she said, got me curious and confused. "So, were calling Devontae lover boy now?" One of my eyebrows were up. "Yep." I started laughing. "Okay then." "Sooooooo..." I forgot I didn't answer her. "Nothing happen. We worked and that was it." "That was it? No emotions? Signs?" "What you mean?" I waited for Christelle to answer but she gave me a "the look". "Oh No Devontae And Me Will NEVER happen, Christelle." "Mhmmmm." Tyler came over and asked what we would like. Christelle asked for vanilla shake. He looked over to me and said," Vanialla shake?" I nodded and said," With Carmel and whipped cream." I said, smiling like a little child. He started to chuckle and nodded. "Name?" "Christelle." "Okay. Christelle and Jasmine. They will be coming soon." He then winked then left. Christelle looked at me and said," IS THAT HIM?" I started to laugh. "Yes, dear." "OHHHMYYYGOSHHH!" Everyone was looking at her and we started to laugh. "I didn't know he was gonna be that fuckin cute!" We look over and saw him making our drinks. "Girllll. Them muscles!" "I said the same thing!" He walked over to us and gave us our drinks. He left and we looked at our cups. "Beautiful Jasmine." "Gorgeous Christelle." We started giggling until we started to leave the store. Starbucks will forever be my favorite. Sooner or later, we arrived our destination.

I was talking with Christelle and we went our separate ways since we came to school earlier then usual. I started to walk to my locker to get a few books for class but while I was walking , I felt my phone vibrate and I looked. I saw that I got a text. Wonder who it can be.

I was confused and looked around to see if someone was watching me or stalking me, matter of fact. Instead I just opened my locker and I saw a letter. I was even more confused. When I grabbed it, it had a bag to it. I open the note first and it says:
Hey Love,
I wanted to tell you that you deserve to be treated well and that you are beautiful. I know I said that last time but you need to know that you are beautiful. No matter what happens, keep that beautiful smile of yours. I wish I could tell you who i am but that would make everything messy. Just know, to keep your head up high. That a sexy goddess is watching over you. (;

I started to smile and went in the bag. I saw candy, a bear, chocolate, etc. Like is it valentine day's already? I feel like I know who wrote this but I dont. I closed my locker and saw Devontae. Why is he coming towards me? "Wassup Jasmine?" He started to smirk. I just rolled my eyes and closed my locker. "Bye Devontae." I walk away to my class. Damn I feel like a badass. I guess Devontae is wearing off on me. Speaking of Devontae, I see him running and try my hardest not to smile while walking to class.

I was walking in school. I was looking for my friends. Girls were running towards me but I saw Jasmine at her locker, smiling. I was confused and angry. Why? I just shock my head but it bothered me to know that she was smiling at something and I don't know what. But her smile.. I have no idea why I like her smile but I just.. do. I wanted to go over and say hey. Also to see what she was smiling at. I started to walk to her and she spotted me. She went from a smile to a disappointed look when she saw me. Was she unhappy to see me or something? I just let it slide and said,"Wassup Jasmine." Jasmine closed her locker, rolled her eyes, and said , " Bye Devontae." She walked away. This is harder than I thought. I started running after her, even though we have to same class. I look at her and saw her trying not to smile. I guess me running to her made her smile but is trying to hold it back. I will find out what was on that note.

Shit. I was wondering why Devontae was still walking with me. I thought he had a different class. He went in first and still confused. "Okay Class, Remember to turn in your project. It due soon." Then I remembered. We have the same class, and were partners in the project.

I watch her, read my text and open her locker. She was looking around but I moved to make sure she didn't see me. I saw her smiling. God.. I miss seeing that smile. I needed to leave before anyone saw me, staring at her. So I left. I just hope she likes the gift. I really hope she gives me a second chance. Everything I did was for her. Every. Little. Thing.
