I had to progress what is going on because I don't understand it. What the fuck is going on. "Why are you doing this , Christelle?" I go to a empty room so no one can hear me. I was pacing back and forth. "Why I'm doing?" She starts to laugh. "I'm doing this because you don't deserve him. Remember that promise?" Promise? I had to think. A few seconds later, I realized what she was talking about. The promise we made to each other to not let boys come in between our friendship. One we made that we were kids. "I remember the promise but this is me and you Christelle not Devontae." "No, now it includes him because I'm in love with him. The things you tell me about him makes me look at him differently and falling in love with him even deeper. I told him I love him , you never did, did she Devontae?" I heard silence from him. I had my reasons why I didn't say it.. "You were just to late, Jasmine. If I can't have him, no one can, not even you." "What do you want, Christelle?!" I heared people knocking on my door and yelling for me to come out quickly. I heard Silence on the line. "Christelle, What do you want?... Please. Just Let Devontae Go And I'll Do Anything..." "I want to you to crush his heart." I was confused. "I want you to make him believe you don't love him or even like him." "But can't Devontae hear you? So he knows you plan?" "Nope. I went in another room." And what if I don't?" "Then Jayden will maybe get hurt." I stopped in place. "How? He's with Marcus." "Oh sweetie, you didn't hear the people banging on the door just now?" "Yeah but they can wait." "Even Marcus?" "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" "Mess with me and I'll mess with you." "WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!" "Go see for yourself." I opened the door and ran to where the police were. I saw what I thought I could see but I just can't anymore. Marcus.... He's dead. There was blood everywhere.. They were trying to get me because he wanted to talk to me but I was to "busy" in another situation to even pay attention. I asked what he needed to tell me. They said," He wanted to say that he's sorry for everything that he put you through and that to follow your heart. He wants you to know that he'll always be there for you and that this isn't a goodbye but a farewell." I started to smile and cry. I went towards him and kissed him on the forehead. "You made me go through hell but taught me a lot of things like strength. Thank you." Wait. I just realized something. "Where's Jaden?!" I looked at the policed and they said ,"We didn't see a little child at the house." I put the phone on my ear, I realized I was shaking and my heart was beating fast. Christelle said ," Are you gonna do it or not?" "Do you have my baby?" I hear Jayden's voice. "Mommy?" "JAYDEN! BABY ITS GOING TO BE OKAY." "Tick Tock, Jasmine." "OKAY DAMNIT ILL DO IT. JUST STOP. DONT HURT MY BABY OR DEVONTAE." That's a good girl, I'll send you the address. No funny business." ENDS CALL.

My life is ruined. Christelle ruined it. Everything I loved is gone. Thank the lord my parents aren't here. I see the text of the address so I can break Devontae's heart. Wait. I have a plan. But I need some people to be in it.

1 hour later

Christelle starts calling me but I ignore it. "Everyone you understand what's happening?" Everyone nodded and I get going to the address Christelle gave me.

15 mins later

Why did I think about this house? I Look and see the house Christelle wanted to have. I go in and I see no one in sight. "Christelle?" "Devontae?" I hear a loud long thump. I go to where I hear it and I see Devontae moving around. I go to him quickly and I take the tape off his face. "OWWWWW!" "I'm sorry idiot. Trying to help you here." "Thanks big head but we need to hurry, she's in the other room." I look to see but she's not. She's right there but Devontae can't see her because he's face the other way. I sigh and say," Devontae, I have to tell you something." He try's to lean in to kiss but whispers something. "I know about what Christelle told you, do you have a plan?" I nod and said ,"We can't do this.. I can't be anything to you. You mean nothing to me. I came here to save my baby not your dumbass. That's why I don't love you and I never will." I wink to tell him to continue. "Why?! Why put me so much pain to protect a slut like you. This is why I never trusted you. Just leave. Hope you made the right decision." Christelle smiles and walks to him. "I told you she doesn't like you. That she never liked you." I'm gonna feel bad because Christelle and I been best friends since we were kids.. but I need to do this. "Christelle, did you kidnap Devontae?" "Yes tf. He's here because of me. I love him and he is mine. Now leave so we can go down to business." She turns to him. "I don't think so." She turns and I punch her to the ground. I started to punch her in here face and slapping. I saw blood but I couldn't stop myself. Christelle was my best friend but she made me so mad. Marcus made me mad but why kill him? I punch her even harder. Then Devontae pulls me off. I'm confused because I thought he was tied to the bed but I see that the plan worked because everyone took her away and help Devontae to the hospital. I went to find Jayden and I found him crying on top of a blanket with toys. I grab and shush him like a mother would and left the house. I go to the hospital and I see Devontae calling for me. I go in the room and say ," Yes?" "Could I hold him?" "Oh yes of course, I'll be right back." I went to go to the bathroom. I came back and I see Devontae and Jayden asleep. Theses are the 2 boys that I love so much and I'm glad to have in my life. "Sweetheart." I jump and see my mom next to me. "Mom!!" I hug her and say ," Where have you been?" "I was still in my trip and I wanted to surprise you." My mom looks at Devontae and Jayden. "I see everything worked out." I looked at them and smiled. "Yeah everything worked out perfectly fine." I continue to look at Devontae. "I love Devontae by the way. He's such a sweetheart and really special." "Yeah, he really is. Mom, Can you put Jayden in the car? I'll be there soon." "Okay Sweetheart." Mom grabs Jayden quietly and goes to next to me. "Be quick Sweetie." Mom winks at me and I starts to smile. She leaves and I walk up to Devontae and sits next to him. I play with his hair and see his eyes open. "Hey Sleepyhead." He starts to smile but just continues to look at me. "What?" "Your just so beautiful and I love your eyes." He sits up and I'm confused to what he is doing. "What are you doing? You have to lay down." "I can't lay down when I have to do something important." "What's important that you can't lay down for?" "This." He leans, puts his hand on my cheek, closes his eyes, and kisses me soft, slow, and smooth. I kiss back and when I say fireworks. I MEAN FIREWORKS like damn. I can never get tired of this.
