Perfection (Chapter 5)

Maia POV:

My mom looks at me shocked I haven't ran. But I'm getting ready to. Finding out you have a younger sister that is spying on you is really hard! And by the expression on Stephanie's face I can tell she's getting ready to run. So that means there's and expression on my face. Stephanie went from happy, then looked at me, to extremely sad. Stephanie starts running like she just got her heart broken by some jerk. She tells me to go away but I say "Stephanie, I'm your sister and I have gone through this." Man it was weird saying "your sister"

"Why shouldn't I make you go away? I mean the look on your face made me know you never wanted a sister like me." She says with a bit of anger in her voice.

"Cause I'm your sister." I say softly so she knows she can trust me. Stephanie practically jumps onto me crying.

"It's impossible for me to get everything right. I mean just finding out that I have a real sister and I wasn't an only child is hard. My foster parents are expecting me to know every note on the piano by 2:00 pm today. I just started taking piano lessons this week!" Stephanie says crying.

"Well write them a note, grabs some clothes, and come to my house."

"Ok..." She says still crying.

Ross POV:

Have you ever had that awkward moment when you have no idea what to say or do? Well right now I'm stuck at Stephanie's house with Maia's mom not knowing what to do. So I wait for them. They get there and ditch me to go inside. So I'm stuck for longer! They come out and I say "What did you guys go in for?"

"Stuff." Maia says. I hate it when she does that.

"What stuff?" I say curiously.

"Mom can Stephanie stay at our house tonight?" Maia says to her mom.

"Uh sure." Her mom says.

"Is anyone gonna answer me?" I say.

"I will." Stephanie says "We went in to get some clothes for me and write a note."

"Ok." I say. We all go back to Maia's house. I get a text from my brother. Ugh. I have to go home. How do I get to Maia's house and have to go home? Well I should tell them so I say "I have to go. Text from my brother."

"Ok." Maia and Stephanie stay at the same time.

"Bye guys." I wave and I'm out the door. I get home and for going out with Maia for her birthday without reminding my mom I was going I'm grounded! Perfect!

Stephanie POV:

I'm nervous when I go to Maia's house and she says "I can tell your nervous. Just relax." I smile a little and she takes me to her room. Thank god Maia is my sister. Then Maia's/my little brother comes running by into Maia's room.

"Get out!" She says to him.

"Who are you?" He says to me.

"Uh... Maia help me." I say.

"She's... Uh... Mom!!!!" She says.

Maia's mom goes in. "What is it Maia?"

"Please explain who Stephanie is." Maia says.

"Uh... Charlie... This is your older sister Stephanie. You never met her before cause that's a different story." Maia's mom says rushing out of the room so no one could ask questions.

"Well nice to meet you 'Stephanie.'" He says.

I look at Maia. She has a nervous look on her face hoping her brother would leave. And he does. Yay.
