Matthew's POV: (continued)

So Ross found out his mom can track his phone and Maia says "So what's gonna happen if she finds you here?!"

"Uh.... I'll be grounded? Or we can explain that I was getting ready to text Rocky and tell him we're here. But that won't be a lie cause I just sent a text saying we're here." Ross said with a smile.

"So no grounding?" Maia asked not smiling.

"Maybe. Hopefully." Ross said looking at us.

Stephanie's POV:

Great. Just great. My sister boyfriend might get grounded... AGAIN! We've all become friends. As in me, Matthew, Maia, and Ross. "I hope you don't get grounded. Cause we're all pretty good friends!" I say.

"Yeah. Ross you can't get grounded again." Maia joins in.

"I won't. Rocky texted and said 'K. Mom said that's fine. Just don't be out late.' With a smiley face!" Ross smiles.

"Yay!" Maia says.

"So what should we do after this?" Matthew asks again.

"Yeah. We have to think of something!" I join in.

"Ok. How about we... Go to the mall!" Maia says.

"Ok!" I say excited.

We finished our ice-cream and went to the mall. I'm so happy. The mall with all my friends... and my sister.

Matthew's POV:

Stephanie is so cute when she's excited. I smile at her when we get to the mall and she is practically jumping up and down. "So what are we going to do here?" I ask.

"Um..... We can walk around and see what we want to do." Ross says.

"Ok." I agree.

It's 9:00 and Maia and Stephanie look at each other. I hear a little bit of what they say. "........I think we....." I hear Maia say.

"W..... What?" I think Stephanie was saying we what?

"....... Have to go." Is the last thing I heard Maia say and then I pretended I wasn't listening.

"Uh bad news..." Maia starts.

"We have to go. We looked at the time." Stephanie finishes.

"Ok." Ross says.

"Um ok." I say. "Can I talk to Stephanie for a minute?"

"Sure." Maia says pushing Stephanie.

We walk across the mall.

"Hey Stephanie I was thinking maybe we could hang out tomorrow at my house?" I ask scratching my head.

"Yeah sure. That would be great!" Stephanie hugs me and whispers "I'll miss you until then..."

Her last words are stuck in my head.
