Maia POV:

I get lucky that Stephanie didn't hide behind me. I've never really broken up with a guy before. I say to her "Wanna keep going Stephanie?"

"Yeah. Sure." She says looking at Matthew still. We walk into the store.

"I like this. Don't you?" I say pointing to a shirt.

"Yeah..." She says not even looking at the shirt.

I look at her and say "Wanna go talk to him for another minute?"

"No. I was just thinking about how we just broke up." She says looking at me.

"Ok." I say looking at shirts with Stephanie.

Stephanie POV:

I look at these shirts with Maia. We agree all of them are pretty. Maia bumps into Matthew's brother and and I bump into Matthew. "Hey Matthew." I say shyly.

"Uh hey. Sorry." He says.

"Stephanie wanna go now?" Maia says.

"No. And that's Matthew's brother." I say to Maia looking at Matthew and pointing to his brother.

"Ok." She says looking at Matthew's brother.

"So um Matthew long time since I last saw you. What was it? 15 minutes ago?" I smile and say.

"Yeah. Something like that." He says starting to laugh. Maia and Matthew's brother are talking.

"Oh um Matthew this is my real sister Maia. I moved out of my foster parents home and into my real parents home. I found them and Maia is my sister." I say nervously.

"Cool. It must be nice to have a sister. I only have a brother and a girlfriend." He says.

I smile and say "I have a brother too. He's a little weird though."

Matthew laughs a little and we talk. 10 minutes later we're walking down to the frozen yogurt place in the mall together. Maia, Matthew, Matthew's brother Sean, and I are at the frozen yogurt place. Matthew and I get the same thing and Maia and Sean gets the same thing.

Maia POV:

I'm really falling for Sean but it would be awkward to be dating my sister's boyfriend's brother. We finish our yogurt and I say "That was fun. We should do this again some time."

"Yeah. We should." Sean says smiling at me. Stephanie's eyes are locked into Matthew's eyes. I won't be getting her back soon either.

"Ready to go Stephanie?" I say.

"No. Not yet." She says writing her cell number down for Matthew. Then finally we can leave.
