I wake up to the hard feeling of the floor, just a thin blanket underneath. Coldness spreads through me and I wrap my arms around my chest to keep warm. I'm naked!

My eyes fly open to see Daryl next to me, our chests together, one of his arms underneath my head serving as a pillow. His other arm wraps around my waist, pulling me to him. I sit straight up, using the blanket to cover up my bare chest.

"Everything okay?" Daryl mumbles, his eyes still closed.

"What just happened?" I ask, looking around in the darkness to find mine and his clothes strewn around the room.

"Well, we did sleep together last night." his eyes are still closed as he responds.

I rub my hands over my face. I can't believe I just did that. I rummage through the darkness, trying to find my clothes. I finally locate my bra and underwear and put them on.

"I can not believe I just did that."

Daryl sits up and begins to rub my back. "Hey, it's fine. No body means to know. And if it meant nothing to you, then it will mean nothing to me."

"No, no, it didn't mean nothing, I'm not like that, it's just-"

"What?" He takes my hand and looks me in the eyes. "Look, I like you, like a lot. And I know I sound like I'm back in high school, but it's true."

I smile. "I feel the same way, it's just, I don't want the others to know. I don't want them to thin that I'm some slut or something."

"Then we don't tell anybody. At least for a while, until you're not the new girl anymore and things get more normal."

I nod. "Okay then."

He kisses my lightly and I smile. We sit there for a while, kissing.

"Taylor!" Beth calls. I can hear footsteps coming towards the steps.

I quickly stand up and start searching for clothes. "Yeah?" I call. I pull out a white tank top and jeans. Pulling them on, I put on a flannel shirt and roll up the sleeves.

"I need help with Judith."

The footsteps get closer and start climbing the stairs.

"Daryl! Get up and get dressed before Beth gets up here!" I hiss. I button up my jeans and run out of the cell before Beth can get up here.

"What's wrong?" I ask, breathless for probably the fastest I have ever changed in my entire life.

She looks at me, a little taken back from my breathlessness and demeanor.

"It's--it's Judith. She has been crying non stop yesterday and this morning. Are you okay?"

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine. I just, didn't mean to sleep so late." I smile to try to sell the story. She just gives me a quizzical look. "So Judith. Why don't we go take a look?"

I walk down the stairs before she can respond. I see Rick holding her in the other room, but I hear her cries first.

"Uh-oh, sounds like somebodies not too happy." I say, smiling at the worried look Rick. "Why don't you lay her down on the table and I'll check her out."

Beth spreads out her blanket as Rick lays her down.

"Has she been outside lately? Maybe got bit by a bug?"

"No." Beth responds. "I've taken her outside, but there hasn't been any bug bites."

I unbutton her shirt and lift it up. I lay my ear to her stomach and smile.
