For a second, we all just stare at each other, eyes widened in shock. All we hear is constant and rapid gunfire.

"Is that the Governor?" Carl whispers.

"I don't know." Rick says, his gun already out.

"Really? Can't we just have one good day!" I exclaim crossing my arms over my chest.

Daryl takes my hand and squeezes it.

"Well, should we go check it out?" Maggie suggests.

Rick nods and cautiously opens the door. He steps outside and waves us forward. Carl passes out guns to everyone as we walk outside. The rain has stopped, leaving the concrete in the yard wet and slick. We go into an automatic formation with Rick in the front. With my gun raised, I scan the area.

"I don't see anything." I whisper to Daryl.

The gunfire, which had temporarily stopped, starts over again.

"That's by the east side!" Rick says.

We all one to that side to see a single person up by the fence. From where I stand, I can see it's a girl, her blond hair up in a ponytail. Walkers surround her and she shoots them off.

"We should help her." I say.

"Carl, go open the gate, we'll distract the walkers to let her in. Stab, don't shoot." Rick orders.

We all run off to the fence to stab down the walkers to help the girl. Her back is still to us and I notice something. Something only I would know because I have the same tattoo in the same spot on my shoulder.

"Oh, my...." I whisper, gasping.

"What?" Daryl asks and he stabs a walker in the head, blood spurting on him.

She was dead. She had to be, this must be a dream, more like a nightmare, or something. There was no way she could be alive. I close my eyes shut, and open them again. She is still out there. That same tattoo and that same blonde hair is still out there. For a second all I can do is just stand there in shock, my arms hanging limply at my sides.

"Taylor, what's wrong?" Daryl asks again.

Please, what ever this is, don't let it be some dream, or a cruel twist of fate. Let it be her. Let it be her alive and well in front of me and not someone else. I don't think I could handle it if it wasn't. I need it to be her.

I run over to the gate, which is open just as she is running in.

"Christina...." I whisper, tears welling up.

Christina looks up at me and her eyes go wide.

"I finally found you!" She gasps.

I stand there in complete shock, my hands raised to my face. She rushes forward and hugs me. It takes me a second before I shake awake out of my shock and hug her back.

"I thought-I thought you were-"

"Dead?" She gives a little laugh. "I thought you were too. But I saw you at Woodbury and left to find you. I didn't think I actually would."

I pull back. "You were at Woodbury?"

"Yeah, the Governor found me in the woods a couple weeks after I left and I've been there since. After I saw you there that night when he made you fight, I found out where you were staying and came straight here."

I pull completely back from here, staring at someone I don't even recognize.

"Why did you leave?" I ask, my voice so soft even I can barely hear it.
