I opened my eyes and tapped my phone so the damn alarm would shut up. 5:30. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, looking over I saw my husband sleeping next to me. I smiled and quietly got out of bed, trying not to wake him.

"Hmm. Huh? (Y/N)? What are you doing up this early?" Alfred murmured, rubbing his eyes

"Don't worry about it, Alfie. Just go back to sleep." I looked over at him.

He sat up and yawned.

"I'll go and make breakfast."

"Oh. You don't have to..." I started to object but he cut me off.

"It's fine. I had to get up soon anyway." Alfred stood up and walked out of the bedroom.

"You don't have to get up until 7, you dummy." I mumbled to myself, smiling.

I got dressed in a black pencil skirt with a pristine, white blouse. I tied the black tie around my neck and put my black blazer on.

Walking downstairs, I smelt the pancakes from halfway down the stairs.

"Here you go dudette. Chocolate chip pancakes with orange juice." Alfie placed the stack of pancakes and the glass of orange juice in front of me.

"Thanks Alfred. Tomorrow I'll make breakfast." I kissed his lips quickly and started to eat. He sat down in front of me and we ate our breakfast.

I took my bag and keys from the side then looked back at my wonderful husband.

"See you later Alfie." I gave a tired smile and walked out.

*time skip to 11 pm*

I tiredly shut the door after another long day at work. Rubbing my eyes, I abandoned my shoes at the door and proceeded to take my jacket off.

"Hey (Y/N)." I jumped at my husbands voice

"Eek! Oh god Alfred. You nearly gave me a heart attack." I jokingly laughed and moved the hair out of my eyes.

"That's not what's gonna give you a heart attack." Alfred looked me in the eyes with a very serious look.

"Huh? Something happen at work?" I asked. Looking back at him with worry

"You're working too much. Stress will get to you and I don't want that."

I hugged Alfred

"Don't worry. It's only for a couple of months. I'm working towards getting a premonition soon so I need to work hard." I smiled at him. Trying to be reassuring. He looked back at me and sighed.

"Fine. Just....please take a day off this weekend."

"Of course. I know what day Saturday is." We both kissed and I went upstairs to have a shower.

*timeskip to Saturday*

I opened my eyes and looked at the clock. 10:26. I turned to see my husband fast asleep. I gently turned to face him. He still asleep and I snuggled up to him.

"Happy anniversary, Dudette. How did it feel to lie in?" He smirked.

"It felt good. Thanks Alfie." We hugged until the phone downstairs rang. I sat up.

"I'll get it. Then I'll make breakfast."

He had already fallen asleep again so I walked downstairs just in time to answer the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hello (Y/N)." It was Alfred's father. Arthur.

"Hey Arthur. Alfred's asleep at the moment but I can go and get him."

"No. I need to speak to you actually."

"Oh ok. What's up?"

"Do you know how stressed Alfred's been over you?!" His voice started to rise

I didn't know how to respond

"Uh? W...What do you...?" I started but was interrupted

"You wake up so early and get back so late. He has a job too where he can sleep till 7 but oh no. He wants to get up with you and make sure you're in bed at night. Alfred works hard enough with out worrying about you."

"Arthur...please listen to me...."

"No. You listen to me (Y/N) Jones. I cannot stand to see my son like this. If you hadn't come around and done this to him then his life would've been a lot better. He could've found a better wife that actually cared about him."

"Please Arthur...stop"

"I will not stop. I wish that he never married someone like you. You, (Y/N), do not and I repeat DO NOT approve of my sons relationship with you. Even worse...."

I hung up the phone and sank to the floor. I cried into my hands for 5 minutes.

"(Y/N)?" Alfred's voice broke through my crying.

"I'm so sorry Alfred." I continued to cry as Alfred walked over to me and hugged me.

"That was Arthur. I know. He just rang me now saying that you were rude for hanging up on him. I thought I should check. What did he say?" Alfred had taken my hands and was looking into my eyes.

I sniffed and responded

"He was talking about how I'm making you stressed and that he wished you married someone better. I don't get why he doesn't see I'm just working hard."

"(Y/N). I'm sorry. Whatever he said was out of line and he didn't have the right to say that to you."

He hugged me again.

"I'm really sorry for making you stressed."

"Don't worry. I'm just making sure you're safe. I know you care about me too so it's not a one sided thing. You'd do that for me right?"

"Of course I would." I smiled and we stood up.

"Breakfast?"

"Yeah." I went to start making bacon and eggs and Al checked the post.

"Yo (Y/N). There's a letter for you. It looks important." I took the letter and opened it

"Oh my god! Al! I got the premonition!" I yelled and started jumping in excitement

"No way! Congrats babe!" Al hugged me and swung me around.

We were both laughing and eventually we landed on the kitchen floor

"I....cannot....believe this." I said breathlessly, looking and Alfred who was also out of breath.

"I can ring my dad and tell him about this. Mrs (Y/N) Jones, deputy CEO of The Allies Eco Power Plant."

I kissed him and sat up.

"I won't make you stressed anymore Alfie. I promise."

"You never did."
