This isn't exactly a one shot
I thought about this idea after I saw a tumblr post on Pinterest. If I find it I'll put it here:
*I'm going to find it*
But I thought it might be a fun idea if I tried writing letters to and from Hetalia countries
I'm bad with intros so here are 4 letters I wrote from America, England, Germany and France's perspective :)

England + Nyo England

Dear my wonderful Alice,

Times in the trenches are hard. You've probably seen in the papers about the long battle we've had against Germany and how they pushed us back. It was a tough battle, I watched the boys from our town fall. That was heart breaking.

On a happier note, The Americans have joined us. I met and befriended a rather loud American. His name is Alfred Jones and is an excellent fighter. I'm lucky to fight along side people like him. He also has a girl waiting for him back home. I have also had the "pleasure" of meeting a French soldier. His name is Francis Bonnefoy. He is lazy and has an awful shot but it's nice to be able to talk to someone. Even if it is arguing.
There is hardly any food but I manage. Alfred shares his canned meat with me. The Americans have bread and wine compared to what we eat. One day ,when I return victorious, we should travel to New York in America. Alfred said we should visit. He wants to meet you. I've told him a lot about you. How smart and perfect you are. I miss you, Alice.
I have to end here today, love.
How is everything where you are? Is my mother doing ok? Tell her I love her and will be home soon.
I love you so much, Alice. Never forget that. I'm fighting so I can come home to you.

Love from your fiancé,
Arthur Kirkland

America + Nyo America

Dear my amazing Amelia,

We have finally gotten to France. It's amazing!! The architecture is so awesome. It's nothing compared to New York though. I miss it.
I've made friends with a couple of soldiers! The first is a French soldier, his name is Francis Bonnefoy. He is ok at fighting, he'd rather be at home though with a nice glass of wine. The next is a grumpy British soldier called Arthur Kirkland and I share my food with him because British food is so gross. He told me about how he is fighting for a girl and her name is Alice. I told Arthur that he should visit New York after the war so we can all meet. I told him about you too. How funny and happy you always are.
I nearly started crying because I started thinking what would happen if I died in battle. I'd never see you or hear you again.
Sorry, I was getting a bit depressing.
How are things back in New York? What I would give to be back home with a delicious hamburger right now. The food here is crap. Arthur loves the canned meat though. British food must be awful if he likes that stuff.
Anyway, I've got to go.
I really miss you, Amelia but the hero must do his duty and fight for his country.

From your hero, Alfred F Jones

Dear Felicia,

Thank you for still writing to me, it must be hard loving me when I can't write as much. I'm sorry.

How is everything in Italy? Are you and your family safe? I hope so,
I've been in these trenches for months. Constantly fighting the British troops. One day we will loose. It's inevitable. When that happens, we can finally be together again.
What was it that you said to me? The house on a hill looking over the Italian shores? Yes. I want that to happen so much. When this war is over, I'll come rushing to you and we will be together again.
Sorry. I have to stop writing soon.

No matter what happens to me, I will always love you, Felicia. Always.

Love Ludwig Beilschmidt.

France + Nyo France

Bonjour Ma cherie,

How is everything in Paris? Are you safe?
I really hope so.
The trenches are absolutely awful, Mon Amor. It is dirty and the bodies have to stay here until they're moved. It is...I don't know. I haven't been myself since I signed up to fight. I feel sick everyday and I am terrified to fight. But for now I'm ok. I'm not hurt so you don't have to worry.
Every night I look up the the sky and when I see the stars, I think of you, Ma cherie. Mon amor, I will fight for you and come home alive and well.

I've met a British soldier. His name is Arthur Kirkland. We argue a lot but I still think of him as a dear friend. I've also met a young man from the Canadian Air Force. His name is Matthew Williams. He is very quiet but very very skilled.
With them fighting by my side, I think we will win this war.

Till next time, Mon amor,
Francis Bonnefoy
