Maybe I should cut down on the sweets.
Or not.
There was nothing wrong
in making my day sweeter. The weather sertainly wasn't helping.
When I looked up
my eyes were met with only gray mist.It looks like it wants to cry again.
Maybe it will.
Groceries in hand,
I walked down the empty streets. The day after I had met him
the sun had been shining
as if celebrating his presence. But slowly with his absence
since that day
with time, the weather had worsened.
It reflected me indeed.I wondered sometimes
Where he was
What he was doing right now
Was I ever going to see him again.I had started to eat in that
little ramen shop
he had taken me to.I hoped I would see him again there.
Nearing my place
I put my hand in my bag
fishing out my keys.I look back up.
Blink.
Should I move?
I was afraid to.
But he was there.
Back flat againced my apartment building.
He was staring down
at his hands.
He was probably looking
at hi phone.And like that
I suddenly felt a jolt of energy.I was suddenly sprinting
hurriedly trying to close the gap
between us.As if he senced me
He looked up
his eyes piercing through me.And then he smiled.
