Jess' P.O.V.

After getting off the phone with Nickie I started to think! I put my headphones in and started listening to Lee Brice's "Hard to Love." My memories started flooding back to that year. 

Flashback:

Aria and I were walking down the hallway at school. Nickie refused to talk to me for some weird reason. "Jess we are going to that party tomorrow night! Got it?" Aria stated. Aria and I became close friends fast. I mean we sort of had too. We sat next to each other in our U.S. History and English classes. Aria was popular because of her outgoing personality and her twin brother, Cooper. 

They went to every popular party and had so many friends. Little did I know that Aria actually wasn't liked very well. "I don't think my mom will let me go to that party. It is going to be crazy. Plus I don't have a costume."  I said. "Haha let me text your mom right now. We will stop and get a costume." She said as she pulled out her phone. 

Aria had become part of the famiy. She was always at my house she practically moved in. So it was only natural she had my moms number. 

"Your mom responded she said we could go! Yay! We are going to look so hot! All the guys will want to be with us!" Aria said as we walked into class. 

**SKIP***

"You ladies look so good! Aria you in that 'Hooters' costume is hot and Jess, my Jess, you are one sexy firefighter." My mom said as we finished getting ready. Our friend Harley was picking us up along with our friend Lindsey. I thought about Nickie but she wouldn't have gone. 

"Thanks Mamma Clark! We are so going to have the boys drooling." Aria said. "Honey cheer up. You deserve to go to a party!  Come one that is where I met all the guys I dated. Especially your father. If I never went I wouldn't have you." My mom said. "I will have fun trust me mom!" I said. I was so excited I love dancing. 

**SORRY FOR THE SKIP**

We arrived to the party. "Let's go over there. I can't believe the Valley kids are here." Valley was a private school in the area. The rest were all Royal High or High Ridge High kids. We were from High Ridge. "Aria, the valley guys are hot! Let's go dance with them." I said dragging her over. That is where I saw those green eyes for the first time. 

"Jess watch out mr. green eyed hottie is checking you out. Oh and he's coming this way. Damn he is hot!" Aria whispered in my ear as she grinded on a Valley guy. "Where's the fire?" He whispered in my ear. "I don't know? Aren't you a little lost from the Lacrosse field?" I answered back. "You got me there. I'm John." He grabbed me and spun me so we were grinding. "I'm Jess." 

"Well Jess tonight you are mine." John said as we kept dancing. After a while I lost Aria. She was probably back on the couches some where. We were at a house party that was being held in a basement. "Want to go outside to get some air?" John asked. I simply nodded and he grabbed my hand. 

"So where do you go to school?" He asked with those sparkling green eyes. "I go to High Ridge what about you?" "Valley. Before you think anything. I was supposed to go to Thunder Land." He said. Of course Thunder Land was another high school right by me. "I wasn't thinking anything. What grade are you in?" I asked. "Junior. What about you?" "Sophomore." 

We kept asking each other questions before we were interrupted by a guy who clearly had way too much to drink. "Johnny boy, who is this pretty young thing?" He asked. "I'm Jess. Who are you?" "Mike. Valley senior." He said laughing. "Dude, Mike don't you have better things to do?" John asked. "Hmm nope I am so drink as fuck." He said laughing again. "John you know what I think this pretty thing is too scared to do a dare." Mike said. "I am not scared. What do you have in mind?" I asked. I don't know what came over me. "I dare you two to kiss. You freaking love birds." I turned to John and kissed his cheek. "Not what I meant miss." Mike pushed John and I together. 

We started making out. I couldn't believe it. His lips were amazing. I just wanted to kiss him some more. We kept making out  and finally had to pull away for some air. WOW. "You know you should text me some time." John said pulling out his phone. "I don't work that way baby. You have to text me." I said grabbing his phone. I gave him my number and walked away.

**FLASHBACK OVER**

I woke up. Breathing heavy. I should have never gone to that party! That party ruined my life. I should have never kissed him. I wish my mom didn't make me dress like a slute and go. I wanted to yes but she should have said no. UGHH! THAT NIGHT RUINED MY LIFE! 

"Jess wake up! It's time for dinner." Niall said as he walked into what is now our room. "Ok umm where are we going?" I asked. "Just down to the place here in the hotel. We decided that it has been a long day for us and we have our concert right after so we will eat and go." He said.

We walked down to dinner without saying a word. I think he doesn't know what to say honestly. "There they are! How was your nap baby girl?" My dad asked while pulling out my chair. "It was well it was eventful. I also called Nickie. She can't wait to come. Which reminds me when is she coming?" "I umm I don't know I think next week." My dad said rather weirdly. He is hiding something. 

Dinner was rather strange. No one talked well everyone talked but me. I was in my own little world and they all left me to it. I don't get why. "Jess you done?" Liam asked. I looked up and noticed it was just me and him at the table. "Yeah, uh where is everyone?" "They went out to the car. I waited for you. Let's go." Liam said. "Great they left without us. Hey Jess you don't mind if we take a taxi right?" He asked a little unsure. "Yeah that is fine. I don't care honestly." I said.

We got into the car and it was silent. "Jess I want you to know that it is ok. You have a past but when you are ready you can tell me. I am great at just listening. Trust me my girlfriend Danielle is always talking. I always listen." He said making me laugh. "Liam thank you but I don't want you guys to think differently of me. Most guys do. I also don't want Harry to hate me. He won't ever like someone like me after this. He doesn't like me now and he will just hate me. He will be disguested with me." I said. "Don't think that. Harry won't." He said as we go out.

** Concert Time**

Harry's P.O.V.

Liam and Jess walked in laughing about something the taxi driver said. I was so jealous right now. I wanted to go hit Liam but he's my best friend and I can't do that. Jess looks so beautiful. I couldn't help but stare at her at dinner. I just want her so bad. I want to wake up to her in the morning. I want to make her laugh, put a smile on her face, protect her, kiss her, hold her, and more. She deserves the world. "Who deserves the world?" Jess asked. Shit did I say that out loud? "Yeah you did. Harry can I talk to you?" Jess asked. 

We went to a little alcove thing in the stadium. "Harry I want to apologize for everything. I didn't mean to freak out on you like that. I just thought you were someone else. I am so sorry. I am sorry I won't tell you what is going on. I just need some time. I am so sorry. I hope that girl you were talking about deserves the world." Jess said as she walked away. "Jess wait!" I yelled and she turned around. 

"The girl. She's you. You deserve it all. The best. I mean I want to give you the world. My heart. Jess, please give me a chance." I said probably not making any sense but it's ok. 

"I-I'm sorry Harry but I am hard to love."  Jess walked away crying.
