Time to Tell

Jess' P.O.V. 

Dad and I arrived at the police station. To say I was scared and nervous is an understatement. I have to do this if I want my relationship with Harry to fully come alive. I need to forget my past and focus on my future with him. My dad is right, I fell in love. 

"How can I help you miss?" The police officer at the desk asked me. "Yeah I would like to report a rape from 3 years ago. Before you say that was a long time ago, my case was just made tonight when he tried raping me again." The officer soon pulled up my file and nodded. "Yes let me go see if Captian Pitut is here." 

I look at my dad who has a confused look on his face. "I thought you told the officers everything?" "No I couldn't not there not with Harry there. I couldn't." I started crying. Before my dad was able to say anything a woman came out. 

"Jessica Higgins? I am Captain Pitut. Please follow me." She gestured. I turned to my dad and told him I would be right back. She led me past the rooms of intereigating criminals. "I think going into one of those rooms is pointless, let's go somewhere more comfortable." She opened a door and we were welcomed to a room with couches, coffee, and women. 

I think she could tell by my confused face she needs to explain herself. "It's where us women here at the station can get away from the men. There's a corner over here that we can talk without anyone bugging us. Have a seat." I sat down and she came back with coffee. 

"Thank you. I need this." "Jessica stop beating around the bush, let's get to the point of why you are here." She takes out a pad and pen. Here goes nothing Jess. 

"John, he's a rapist. You have to do something." I began to cry. "Jessica we know that but what happened those years ago. Tell me." She pushed her coffee out of the way and reached for my hand. For a woman cop she was being really nice. 

"We met at a Halloween party when I was a sophomore in high school. I went as a fire fighter and he was dressed as a golfer. He was so cute at the time. We continued to hang out. I wanted a relationship he didn't. Then Aria my best friend at the time left me all alone with him one night. My parents weren't home and he raped me. She knew about it but didn't come and help me. No one could. I tried fighting back I did but it didn't work. After that I refused to see him. No one knows this but he kept showing up at the boys basketball games in hopes to grab my attention. He scared me. One of the basketball players had to threaten him. He stayed away until a year ago. He texted me asking to see me. I didn't want to. I never did. Then we ran into each other again as you go the statement for that." I finished with the details. 

"Jessica by giving me your statement I will have to have firm proof to go further but with the proof from your boyfriends recording and John fully admitted it. We have a case that will be won." She hugged me and led me out to where my dad was supposed to be waiting. I was stunned to see my dad sitting there but with Harry. 

"What are you doing here?" I asked shocked. "Thank you Jessica we will call you when we are ready for a court date if we go to court." Captain Pitut walked away. "Your dad called me. He told me you were here to tell everything. I ran here as fast as I could. I needed to make sure you were okay." The worry in his eyes made me melt. I realized then and there I love this man in front of me. 

"I am. I will be. Thank you for coming down. You didn't have to." I went to hug him. Being in his arms made me feel safe. "I will do anything for you. I have to make sure that you are alright." He whispered to me. "Alright you guys ready to go? We have to go make sure the rest of the boys didn't make a mess out of anything." My dad interupted. We began to walk back to the hotel. 

I was content finally. Harry wrapped his arms around me. I know this is where I am supposed to be, with the two men I love more than anything in the world. I am finally happy.

SORRY GUYS THIS HAS TAKEN ME FOREVER TO UPDATE! I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH A LOT OF SCHOOL AND SORORITY LIFE. I AM CURRENTLY SINGLE BUT KIND OF SEEING SOMEONE ON MY UNIVERSITY'S FOOTBALL TEAM! HE IS A FRESHMAN BUT I THINK AGE IS JUST A NUMBER NOW.

MY EX AND I ARE CONSTANTLY FIGHTING WHENEVER WE SEE EACH OTHER. THERE ARE TWO GUYS THAT LOOK EXACTLY LIKE HARRY! I WANT THEM BOTH! THEY ARE BOTH IN A FRAT WHICH I LOVE! BUT WE SHALL SEE...

MY BIRTHDAY IS SUNDAY!!!! HOLLA AT BEING 20!!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED! CAN'T WAIT!
