3:21am:
You never messaged me.

3:21am:
I don't want to burden you every night, I've tried with others and it ends with false hope. Promises that are never kept.

3:22am:
But I'm not the others, I'm me.
Why can't you just let me in?

3:25am:
I just
I'm not sure how

3:25am:
This has happened before, hasn't it?

3:25am:
Two years ago, someone who told me they cared enough to never let me go cut me off. Tore any sense of comfort and trust I had leaving the shell of who I am behind.

3:25am:
Woah.
That sounds, that is an ordeal.
I'm sorry that happened to you, Amelia.

3:25am:
It's okay, you couldn't do anything about it.
to be honest no one could, I didn't let them.
In my mind I was finally comfortable to be with someone, I ignored the comments about him being toxic.
I guess the fumes just clouded my perception.

3:26am:
So two years?
You've been going through this, alone.

3:25am:
Yes.
The other night, I got a message from him. He sometimes messages me when he's drunk, he lives on the other side of the country but says he wants me to visit him.

3:27am:
Don't do it.

3:27am:
You think I'm that naive?
Actually don't answer that, I'm the one talking to a stranger.

3:27am:
Amelia, please.
So this guy, he lives far away? How far.

3:27am:
Around five hours away.
We never moved in together, I was 17 he was 18.
Now I've moved even further with my family. He can't find us.

3:27am:
Sounds like this guy is a creep.

3:27am:
That's the problem.
He looks harmless.
Until you cross him, then the sweet smile is deadly.

3:28am:
I want to keep you safe.
Even though we don't know each other.
I just want you to be safe.

3:28am:
Ashton.

3:28am:
Amelia?

3:30am:
Thank you.
I don't think I've been this well, honest in a long time.
So thank you x

3:30am:
You know what they say about the night.
Darkest hours delve into the darkest of secrets.
I just don't want you to get hurt again. And I'm aware that you've just scratched the surface of that whole thing but that is enough to go on.

3:30am:
Can you tell me a story?

3:30am:
I'd love to.
