Finally I finished that truckload of work. God it's hard to be a CEO. I'm hungry. I'll probably order take away. *Ring Ring*
"Hello?"
"Hey ji eun~ are you busy?"
"Hey Mark and no I'm not busy why?"☺
"I'm coming to your office. I have a suprise~" cooed Mark
"Okay then see you then" I grinned into the phone.
"Byeee" said Mark and ended the call. Mark was their for me when Jungkook and me became distant. Always their for me to make me laugh and smile. Their for me when stress piles up. He's one of the people I treasure the most. If only Jungkook was like this *sighs* *knock knock*
"Come in"
"Hey ji eun~ how's everything going? To much work?" Mark says while chuckling
"Works a killer these days. God sometimes I just wanna give up" I said in an annoying tone.
"Cheer up ji eun. I have a present for you" he said with a smile.
"What is it?" Suddenly feeling happy. Mark so sweet for doing these things.
"Close your eyes."
I closed my eyes. "Can I open my eyes now?"
"You can." Mark suddenly brought out a bracelet that had white pearls with my name written on each pearl.
"Do you like it?"
"Oh mark" I breathed. "It's beautiful Mark, thank you so much" I said while giving him a tight hug.
"I'm glad you like it." Said Mark with a shy smile. I started laughing at his cuteness. He's too sweet. Suddenly the door opened with a lot of force.
*"Yah Lee Ji Eun!" My whole world stopped. It was Jungkook. After a year I got to see him. But this was a bad timing. Jungkook walked right up to me and harshly grabbed my wrist.
"Who is this and why are you laughing so much with him?!" growled Jungkook.
"Ouch Jungkook my wrist hurts. Let go. It's only Mark. He's my close friend." I said with desperation. He started to grip my wrist even more. Then he looked at my bracelet. Oh no
Jungkook P.O.V
I can't she's with another man. Is cheating on me? Is this the outcome of our distant relationship? Her cheating on me?!
"Who gave you that bracelet?!" I said while sighed.
"Me" said that Mark guy with a glare. This guy has some fucking nerve!
"Yah why are you messing with my girlfriend?!" I shouted in his face. He has no right to take her away from me.
"Stop acting all mighty. For all I know You don't even see each other. So why acting like you own her?!" Said Mark with a calm face but an angry tone.
"What?!" I screamed in his face. I was ready to wack his face with my fist when Ji Eun suddenly hugged me to stop me. Suddenly my heart stopped. Suddenly all her memories of her hugging me came back. I wanted to hug her back but she stopped me and looked at me angrily.
"Jeon Jungkook. Please just go. For our sake just go for now. " she said with a mix sadness and anger. I felt all the life of me being drained out. She chose to stay with that guy?!
"Ji eun I-"
"Jungkook. Go"
I gave that Mark one last glare and look at ji eun. She looked pained. I didn't mean to baby....
I walked out of their with sadness and pain killing me inside.
