3rd P.O.V.
It was the day of the third exam. Riku was automatically sent to the second round due to his opponent's death beforehand. The rest of Team 9 sat on the sidelines watching the scene infront of them as Subaku no Gaara's and Uchiha Sasuke's fight reaches it's climax. "Chidori!" A sound of a thousand birds chirping was heard as lighting emitted from Sasuke's hand as he thrusts forward the sand gennin who shielded himself inside a sand dome. Gaara's ultimate defence was broken through and then a scream was heard. In the crowd feathers gently fell. "Why am I getting sleepy, dattejane...?" Sachiko slowly started to fall asleep as well as the rest of the crowd except for a few. A hand was place on her shoulder releasing the genjutsu, the greenette looked at the one who dispelled the jutsu. "Otou-san?"
Subaru immediately hugged his daughter and told her to run. He then jumped into the arena infront of an anbu member that had a mask that looked like a cat. "I never thought you would be one of them." Subaru spoke as he took out a kunai gripping tightly when the Anbu member said nothing. "I finally know the truth... you killed her!" Subaru dashed towards the Anbu member who evaded his attack.
"Sachiko, we need to go." Nagisa placed his hand on her shoulder with a stern look. "You heard what Subaru said." Clenching her fists the greenette ran into the arena but was pulled away by Riku. A group of sand and sound shinobi entered the scene forcing Riku to let go of Sachiko in order to protect himself.
"Why do you hide yourself? TELL ME HIMIKO!!" Subaru shouted catching Sachiko's attention as the Anbu member runs towards him at full speed and stapping him in the heart, only to be stabbed at the same place herself by Subaru. "Just why?" Were Subaru's last words as his body went limp.
The cat mask dropped showing a sad smile on Himiko's face. "Cause Sachi-nee s-said so..." Himiko's body went limp and unbeknownst to the both, Sachiko saw.
"NOOOO!!" She cried out, jumping into the arena fighting those who got in her way. When Sachiko finally reached to the bodies of her blood relatives, she started to sob as she pulled a piece of hair away from her late auntie's face showing her lifeless eyes. The sand and sound shinobi were heard in the background as they retreated, but Sachiko didn't care about it, that very moment. Only the ones she loved the died before her very eyes.
"Sachiko..." The said girl nodded and stood hugging the person who called her name. Kakashi felt like nothing had changed as he was hugged by the greenette. He didn't say anything, only just patted her head awkwardly as if comfirming she was going to be alright. Light snores were heard from the greenette as Riku went over to see her. "Riku, right?" The said boy nodded. "Can you take her home or to lord Jiraiya?" The blonde accepted the request and held the girl bridal style taking her away.
"It's as if nothing had changed after all these years of fighting." Asuma spoke with his gaze upon the corpses.
"Yeah." Kakashi replied as a few of leaf shinobi came over to take away the bodies.
~time skip~
"Are you sure about this, kiddo?" Sachiko nodded as she gave Jiraiya a hug goodbye. "I'll miss you."
"I'll miss you too, tou-san." Sachiko let go and walked towards her teammates that were waiting for her at the gates, but turning around to face Jiraiya with a smirk. "Hey Tou-san! I'm gonna write a way better book than you, dattejane!" Jiraiya chuckled at his daughter's antics as her watch her leave the leaf with her team. The sounds of team 9 arguing could be heard as they left for a year's training.
