11. Teams

Sachiko P.O.V.

Today's the day, dattejane. The day we get assigned to our teams! I'm currently walking down the hallway towards the classroom where the graduates are supposed to meet. I opened the sliding door. "Sachiko the future fastest ninja is in the room, dattejane!" I shouted, but as usual they all ignored me. Well except for Hinata-chan who smiled and Naruto-kun who grinned. I made my way to Hinata-chan but it wouldn't be me if I hadn't tripped over nothing. Fortunately no one noticed, so I quietly hurred to my seat and started to chat with my friend.

We were interrupted by the sound of... wild animals? The door slammed open with Ino and Sakura shouting 'goal!' in unison.

"Seems like I beat you billboard brow." Ino bragged.

'Yamanaka Ino. She's a fangirl of the teme Sasuke and is also viscous and annoying.'

"No way. My toe was at least a centimeter past your's." Sakura scoffed. 'Is that her way of saying she has a big toe?'

'Haruno Sakura. Like Ino she's a fangirl... be very cautious as her punches can give you a concussion. She is also annoying.'

The Sakura's gaze turned towards the direction where Naruto-kun was sitting. Spotting something to her interest Sakura gasped and ran towards him. "Ohayo Sakura-"

"Move it!" Sakura cut him off, shoving him in the process. "O-Ohayo Sasuke-kun. Mind if I sit next to you?" Sasuke just ignored her. While as his fangirls started arguing over the seat.

'Uchiha Sasuke. The class prodigy, he pretty much ignores everything and thinks he's better than me. Well I'll show him, dattejane!'

3rd P.O.V.

"Is that this year's top rookie, UchihaSasuke?" A Jounin with spiky black hair asked.

"Yes." The Hokage replied.

"The sole survivor of the Uchiha clan?" A woman with long black hair and red eyes spoke.

"Yes." The third confirmed again. A ninja with sliver spiky hair was staring into the crystal ball like he was waiting for it to show a certain someone sitting up by the table behind the Uchiha's fangirls.

"Uzumaki Naruto, eh..."

Naruto's P.O.V.

All right that's it! I jumped in front of teme's face and glared at him showing who's boss. "Naruto! Don't glare at Sasuke-kun!" Sakura-chan shouted at me. 'Sakura-chan...' I turned to her then went back to glaring at teme. "Everyone's all Sasuke, Sasuke. What's so great about this guy?!' We glared at each other more harder that even sparks were flying off.

"Just beat him up, Sasuke-kun!" One of the girls shouted. "Yeah! Yeah!" Shouted another one.

"What? Really?" Someone behind bumped into me. "Oh! Sorry!" Everything was in slow motion... as I started to fall.

3rd P.O.V.

"Uh... what?" Sakura asks confused like the restof the girls. The entire clas was silent till a sudden burst of laughter from the greenette ruined the 'lovely' moment. The two boys immediately pushed away from each other and started gagging. "Blehh..." Naruto gagged.

"You are so dead Naruto." Sasuke said between gags. Naruto stopped gagging feeling a sense of danger wash over him.

"Naruto..." Sakura trailed off with venom hanging off while clicking her fingers getting ready to beat the poor boy up. "You're dead!" Naruto squealed a small help to his friend, Sachiko but all she did was wink at him and leave Naruto to his demise.

"From this day forward you are no longer mere students of ninjutsu but full-fledged shinobi." Iruka started his speech. "But, among the ranks of the shinobi, you are mere novices, lowest of the low. Your greatest challenges all lie ahead. The next step is the assignment of duties to you all on behalf of our village. We will begin by dividing you into a three-man cells. Each of which will be mentorer by a Jonin, a more senior ninja. But due to certain circumstances one student will be joining Team 9 from the previous year. " 'Three-man squad?' Ino and Sakura perked their heads up in interest.

"Well I wonder who will be in Sasuke-kun's team." Ino whispered to Sakura.

"Yeah, I wonder." Sakura replied. 'Obviously it's gonna be me, cha!' Inner-Sakura shouted.

'Three man cells? Sounds like two too many...' Sasuke thought.

'So long as I'm partnered with Sakura-chan, I'll take anybody else. Except for Sasuke, dattebayo!' The blonde knuckle-head nodded.

'As long as I'm paired up with Naruto or Hinata, I'll be perfectly fine... unless Sasuke's in it.' Sachiko glared at her desk thinking about being partnered up with the Uchiha.'"You're such a loser, midget." *punches imagineary Sasuke in the face making him fly away into the stars* THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR CALLING ME A MIDGET YOU TEME , DATTEJANE!!' Sachiko mentally shouted then smirked at her imaginary victory, earning a worried glance from her best friend Hinata.

"I made the selections so that each cell's abilities would be approximately equal." Iruka stated making the class complain.

"Next, Team 7. Consists of Haruno Sakura, Uzumaki Naruto-" Naruto cheered as Sakura banged her head on the desk. "And Uchiha Sasuke." The two switched moods, now with Sakura cheering and Naruto sulking. 'I won't be in the same team as Naruto...' Hinata thought looking ovr at her crush. "Team 8, will be made up of, Hyuuga Hinata, Inuzuka Kiba and Aburame Shino. Team 9, Sachiko. Team 10, Yamanaka Ino, Nara Shikamaru, Akimichi Choji."

"Iruka-sensei!! Why is an excellent shinobi such as myself, in a team with THAT SLUG SASUKE!!" Naruto shouted in complaint.

"Out of the twenty-eight of you Sasuke has the best grades, Naruto. While you would be at the bottom of the class. The idea is to balance your different strengths... that's why you ended up together!" Iruka explained.

"Just don't drag me down, loser." Sasuke told the blonde making him fustrated.

"What did you say?"

"Hard of hearing?"

"Knock it off Naruto!" Sakura scolded the said boy.

"Ok, everyone I'll be introducing your sensei's this afternoon. Until then, you're dismissed!"
