Chapter 13

" You're kidding ?! " I asked excitedly. 

" Nope, they told me earlier. I was just as surprised as you are. I guess that whole memory morph thing worked out after all. " He said nudging me in the side as I laugh. 

" I like it when you laugh. " He said then seemed to kick himself for it. I bit my bottom lip nervously and looked down. It's always been a bad habbit of mine when I get nervous and this is no exception. 

" Um... Thanks. " I said awkwardly focusing on my shoes as the movie picked now to end. 

" I only laugh when I'm with you or Carston though. " I add and almost instantly smacking myself. Well that doesn't sound like a come on at all. 

" Well as long as it's only for me. " He said cheekily winking at me and I can't help but laugh a little. He's such a flirt sometimes. 

" So what do you want to do now, you know since the movie ended. " I said fiddling with my fingers. That's right I used the word fiddle. 

" I've got an idea. " He said scooting closer. Wait I can't possibly be thinking the same thing he is. I mean he wouldn't ever actually want to... kiss me, would he ? 

" A-And what would t-that be ? " I asked as he was inching closer and closer, and the funny thing is, so was I. 

" Something I've wanted to do for a while now. " He whispered as our faces were only centimeters apart. 

Suddenly the door swings open and we draw back almost instinctively. I'm sorta glad we did too because standing there in the door way is Dalton carrying a very tired looking Carston. I told him she never goes to the gym...

" What happened to her ? " Cole asked laughing at them casually playing off what just happened. Well I guess it was more like what just almost happened. 

" Well someone's been spending a little too much time with Will at fat camp. "( A/N: If you don't know this that's a joke Dalton made, I'm not being mean to Will I swear. ) He said smiling cheekily at Carston. 

" You, despite your cute quirkiness, are a jerk. " Carston said playfully hitting him. At least I hope she's playing for her sake. 

" So things are officially official huh ? " I asked not being able to stop myself. 

" Yeah so I take it the memory came back ? " Dalton asked poking Carston in the side making her squirm like a worm. Yeah that's right, I'm Dr.Suess' assistant in training. A few more pages in Green Eggs and Ham and I'll be promoted to official Rookie. 

" Never left. You people are so easy to trick. " I say smiling evily ,but Carston just sends her own toothy grin back. 

" Well it's a good thing you're the next big actress because you have to help me with the maid scene for the play auditions. " She said and I swear I'm looking at her like she sprouted wings and flew away. 

" Auditions ? Auditions for what ? " I asked grabbing the bag of potato chips from beside me. 

" Um remember, Mrs. Robin telling us we have to audition for the play ? " She said and I laughed.

" Wasn't she just kidding ? " I asked clearly not very concerned. 

" Um, no. She told us that every student in the arts program has to audition. Tomorrow. " Cole said looking at me like I just lost my marbles.

" Oh crap. Well looks like I'm going to be the girl who painted bush 2. " I said leaning back into the couch only to be pulled up by Carston. 

" No, you're going to be the girl who helped me get the part as the maid. " She said pouting. 

" No stop that ! I hate it when you make the face. And wasn't it a nurse ? I don't think there even were maids back then. " I said trying to avoid the pout as long as possible. 

" Pleeeeease ?! " She whined pulling on my arm releasing her inner child. 

" Fine ! Let's get this over with, but you owe me ! " I said following her away to never be seen again. Haha no just kidding but that actually sounds better than rehersing some play. 

" What play are they doing anyway ? " I asked after a minute. 

" Modern Romeo and Juliet. The musical. " She replied fake gagging. Yeah never to be seen again is sounding better and better... 

A/N: I know this chapter's just as crappy and suckish as  the last one but this one is going to be part of a double update so yeah the next chapter will be better and up in a second ,I promise. Let me tell you pretty soon there is going to be some dramaaaa. Because what makes a fanfiction without a little drama ?
