"And you're free to go. I want you on bedrest for the next two weeks." My Shishou says.
"Hai! Arigato!" I thank, and she nods, exiting the room. Two seconds later, the Uchiha's and a nurse arrive.
"Ready to go?" Sasuke asks, and I nod. The nurse helps me stand and get in the wheelchair, and we head down to the lobby. The Uchiha's sign the necessary documents that will allow me to leave, and then we head to their car. Sasuke helps me inside.
"How are you, Sakura?" Mrs. Uchiha asks.
"A lot better."
"That's good. It's really good to have you back." She smiles, hugging me. I slightly wince at the pain in my stomach, but hug her regardless.
"Mom, dad, Sakura needs rest." Sasuke says from behind us, and Mikoto nods.
"Of course! I just missed my favorite daughter-in-law!"
"Better not tell Izumi that." Sasuke mutters, grabbing my hand and leading me to the bedroom. Behind us, Fugaku snorts. We enter the room and I carefully lay myself down on the bed. "Do you need anything?" Sasuke concernedly asks.
"Nope. I'm fine right now." I respond, then quickly smirk to my inner self for giving me an idea. "But I could use a hug."
"I thought mom for sure squeezed the hug out of you." He says, and I let out a small laugh. "But fine." He says, wrapping his arms around my waist. I smile.
"Arigato, Sasuke-kun."
"Hn. Well, I'll be on the phone with the Dobe in the living room if you need me." He says, turning towards the door.
I look at my nightstand and smile. "And arigato for the new books!"
Unbeknownst to Sakura, the raven smiles to himself, exiting the room.

"You need anything?" Sasuke asks a few hours later."Nope." I reply, barely looking up from the new book I'm currently reading.
"Not even your favorite smoothie?" He pouts, and immediately I look at him.
"Strawberry kiwi smoothie?" I suddenly ask.
"Of course." He says, walking over and handing it to me. I smile. "And I made it myself."
"Thank you, Sasuke." I quickly kiss him on the cheek, then turn as red as a tomato.
"You're welcome, Sakura." He replies, smiling. There's a moment of silence. "What topic are you reading up on now?" He asks, scooting towards me.
"How to counter heavy offensive attacks." I respond, and he looks at me, obviously taken aback.
"And why would you need to do that?"
I sigh deeply. "Sasuke, I'm thinking about going after the Akatsuki."
He stands up, a dangerously scary, unreadable look in his eyes. "You will not go after them."
"Why?"
"We have Itachi after them right now, and I just... I can't bear to see you hurt. It pained me so much to see you in pain when you got impaled, and I won't let it happen again."
"Sasuke-" I start, then wonder if I should tell him that his brother is a traitor. However, Sasuke cuts me off before I can say anything else.
"Sakura, please." He says, down on his knees and almost nearly a beg. "I love you."
At those three words, I blush. "I love you too, Sasuke-kun-"
"Sakura. Please, just listen to me. Don't do it. Stay by my side."
"Eh, you didn't let me finish." I say, and he raises a brow for me to continue. "I said I was thinking about going after the Akatsuki, but I won't. I just need to learn how to defend myself against them. I like it right here where I am. I like being right next to you." He smiles brightly, then hugs me. I hold in the pain in my stomach and hug him back. "Ne, Sasuke-kun. If you're not busy, do you wanna watch some anime?"
"Sure, princess." He responds, sitting on the bed.
"Eh, why princess? I'm no princess." I say.
"Yes you are. You're my princess." He sincerely replies, and I smile, snuggling into his chest as he puts on some anime.
