Chapter 6

As soon as the lunch bell rang, Sunni ran out of the class in a hurry while Soojung tried to go after her, but Changjo stopped her.

"I think you should let her be alone," Changjo told Soojung.

Soojung sighed in frustration. "Choi changjo, she's my bestfriend I can't let her be alone."

With that being said, she ran after her best friend, but found her no where. There were already people out in the courtyard making it harder for Soojung.

'Maybe her parents fought again,'
she thought, that's why she doesn't want to talk.'

Bang Minsoo saw Soojung and with a smile on his face, he approached her.

"Soojung-ah!" He called out.

"Hey~! Sorry I can't eat lunch with you today," She gave him an apologetic smile.

"why not?" Minsoo asked, disappointed. His smile he had before was now turned upside down. Soojung apologized and explained her situation.

"It's okay I'll just eat with Rachel then," Minsoo gave her an assuring smile before leaving from her sight. As much as Soojung wanted to eat with Minsoo, She just couldn't leave her best friend.
She looked everywhere, but didn't find her. Tired, she heads into the cafeteria and spots Changjo. Her eyes widened in surprise as she ran towards his table. Right beside Changjo- Sunni was sitting right there.

"Sunni!" She cried, "Sunni! I was looking everywhere for you!"

Sunni gave her a slight smile.

"Wait, Changjo? Sunni? are you two friends?" Soojung looked at the two of them wiggled her eyebrows.

"I'm nobody's friend here. Don't talk to me," Changjo got up and threw away his half eaten lunch and sat at another table meanwhile plugging in his headphones. There he goes again with those stupid headphones.

"Jerk," Soojung muttered under her breath. Sunni heard her and giggled. Once Soojung heard her best friend laugh at her joke, She kept on cursing at Changjo under her breath until both of them were laughing so hard they couldn't breathe. A lot of girls gathered around the table where Changjo was sitting at and started talking to him and asking questions. Changjo  smiled and talked back to them treating them as friends.

"What! That's not fair! He smiles with them but not with us!" Whined Soojung as soon as she saw them.

"Actually we were having a conversation until you came," Sunni whispered feeling down, but Soojung heard her.

"What? Seriously? What's his problem with me?" Soojung frowned.

After a car accident she had when she was eight years old, she had lost her memory and lost her parents. She was later adopted and had to get accustomed to learning social skills. In that mean time,  She thought everyone liked her. That everyone would be happy to be her friend, but this time it was different.

Rachel doesn't like her. Sunni was mad for some reason. And Changjo didn't want to even look at her. She had never experienced or knew how it felt to be left out or hated on.

'At least Bang Minsoo talks to me,' she thought.

'Wait, Since I canceled our lunch together, he probably won't want to eat with me again,' she thought

She woke up from her thoughts and noticed that Sunni was already joined in with the groups of girls who were chatting- well more like fan girling over Changjo.
