Changjo's point of view -

I sigh as I head over to my monthly visit to the counselor. I've been going to therapy for the last 8 years. It has helped me a lot but I can't forget what happened that day.

"What do you think you'll do if you find that girl? Do you think you'll recognize her?" Doctor asked. I sighed.

"We were children. She lost her mother at eight years old. She had to move away from me. If I ever found her. I would be the one to move this time. Far away from her because I wouldn't want to hurt her. not again" A tear rolled down my cheek, Yoora, I'm sorry. I hope you'll never meet me,

"Do you remember how she looks like?"

"It's a blurry image but I have pictures of her young self."

"Ah. That's good. You can't forget how she looks. She's the only one who can help you with this trauma. You can't sleep at night can you?" She explained and then asked looking worried.

"I can but have nightmares," I said. "Everytime, it's the same dream. It's what happened that day, I regret it with all my might," I growled.

"It's because you blame yourself. It's not your fault. "

"But it is." I sighed deeply.

"It's better for you if you find her. Your nightmares can only disappear if you two meet."

"What do you mean?" I asked suddenly feeling frustrated. "She's living her life without a mother right now. all because of me- you think she could forgive me?"

"It wasn't your fault."

"I wish that was true."

"Actually. Because it's for your health concern, we've been looking for Yoora."

"oh- Why? Any news? did you find her? how is she doing?" I asked impatiently.

"We think we may have found her. According to the investigators. She lost her memory after the accident. She got adopted and moved overseas."
I was speechless.

"thats all we know as of now. but that information is three years old. who knows if She still lives in the United States."

what is happening? I couldn't really process what had happened clearly. it was just so ... sudden. Yoora, doesn't remember me ?

"I'm getting new information this afternoon. I'll give you a call if there's anything," The doctor tells me.

"Thank you." I nervously get up and walk out. My head was spinning and my legs felt weak.

Soojung's point of view-

"What is it that you wanted to tell me about?" I asked sunni. we had agreed to meet at the nearby park.

"First I just want to say that I'm sorry," She looked at her feet as she spoke.

"Why are you- I'm the one that's suppose to be apologizing," I told her.

She looked at me with saddened eyes.

"Soojung... I never wanted you to find out because I knew that it'd be just a bother for you," she continued.

"Sunni, what are you talking about?"

"For almost three years I had been bullied," Sunni said causing me to gasp.

"Sunni I-"

"You didn't know. It's okay, though. I learned to make my self stronger. I'm sill getting bullied but it's not that extreme," She sniffed.

"W-why?" I asked feeling tears coming. Why didn't I notice? Sunni needed me and I was just caring for myself.

"I don't want to say it's your fault. it was just the fact that you were going out with Minsoo," she stated.

"But Minsoo and I are over!" I reminded her. I couldn't really understand why my friend was being bullied.

"Listen... I didn't call you here to talk about me. I'm here to talk about you and Changjo," she said making my eyes go wide. Did something happen?

"Changjo... he's not the guy you think he is," Sunni started.

"What?" I was confused at her words.

"Changjo didn't really love you," She continued. "He doesn't love you. he only went out with you because I told him to!"

"What are you talking about?" I said as my brain was trying to process everything. is she really my best friend?

"I asked him to go out with you, that way... Minsoo can get together with Rachel," She explained after taking a deep breath, tears streaming down her eyes.

"I'm not really understanding you here!" I said, my voice raising.

"He only went out with you because it was a favor I asked him to do. I'm sorry! I should of told you this earlier,' Sunni had tears escaping her eyes while my eyes were clouded with tears.

"How could you? ...Why didn't you tell me this... before I... fell in love with him," I told her. "Why didn't you trust me? I could of helped you with your bully problem!" I felt frustrated and anger was slowly rising inside my system.

"Changjo never really liked you. He felt sorry and he felt like it was his duty to go out with you because I asked him to. His feelings are fake!" she said.

"Shut up! I don't believe you," I cried. Sunni... She's lying.

"Listen to me Soojung! Changjo is going to break up with you soon! He doesn't have real feelings for you. I'm telling the truth," She continued. "He never liked-"

Before even knowing what I was doing I had slapped her. She froze. Her eyes saddened and she looked at me with disbelief.

"Get lost!" I shouted out of frustration.

"Don't say I didn't warn you," Sunni said walking away, leaving me to cry by myself. I couldn't believe my own actions. why do I hurt the people I love? Why do I get hurt by the people I love?

I sat down on the parks' bench and silently sobbed into my hands. This couldn't be true, yet why would my best friend be telling me this if it wasn't true? Changjo hadn't believed me so why should I?

"Soojung-ah!" I heard a male voice say. I looked up and saw a male in jogging pants running up to me and sat down besides me.

"Hey L.joe," I sniffed as I wiped my tears with the back of my hand.

"Hey hey... what's wrong?" he asked soothingly. I felt more tears coming as I thought about it.

"I don't know. I don't know if this is true. what if he really doesn't like me? does that mean I fell in love with someone who thought I was a joke?" I asked knowing L.joe had no idea what I was talking about.

L.joe didn't say anything. He simply rubbed my back forming circles with his hand.

"I'm sorry that you have to hear this," I apologized.

"It's okay," he then pulled me into a hug, surprising me.

"I'll always be here for you. I won't let you leave me again," he whispered making me wonder if he meant to say that out loud or not.
