"What... what are you guys doing?" I asked, confused and weirded out.

They broke the hug and wiped their tears.

"Something happened back home. I have to go," L.joe said and went back inside his house.

"Changjo, what happened?" I asked.

"Don't worry about it. It's a personal matter. If he wants to tell you then he'd tell you," Changjo said.

"Oh," That's all I could say.

"Goodbye soojung," Changjo gave me a half smile.

"Wait," I grabbed his arm.

"I'll come with you to the airport," I said. He nodded.

It was silent. we didn't say anything until we arrived at the airport. Changjo paid the taxi cab and we headed inside.

"Changjo... Before you go... can I hug you?" I dared to ask. He sighed and pulled me into a hug. I was a bit surprised.

"I'll be back in a year. I know I've told you to move on, but deep in my heart I want you to wait for me," He said. I smiled.

"Of course I'll wait for you. A year isn't that long. You and I would have already graduated from high school and we can start anew," I told him.

"You're wrong. You say that now, but I'm almost sure you'll hate me and would not even want to see me in a year." He told me in a low voice. I broke the hug.

"Changjo, I forgive you okay. What ever you did, it doesnt matter, I will still love you."

He looked down with a sigh. Without a word, He engulfed me into another hug.

We said goodbye once more and he went into the plane. this time I didn't shed tears. I didn't cry. Instead I smiled.

I went home and saw L.joe going into a taxi.

"L.joe wait!" I cried. I ran toward him and he waited.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"My family was in a car accident on their way to see me," He whispered. they're in a hospital right now and it's critical for both my parents," L.joe looked down. My jaw dropped. He was in such situation and I couldn't be any comfort to him.

"Oh... I hope you're okay," I looked down. My mind was blank. I didn't know what to tell him.

"Sorry for being such an ass. I should have never insisted on you loving me," He said as tears escaped his eyes. "I was stupid."

"It's okay. Because you were there when I needed you," I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"Changjo told me you called him. so he could come," I smiled. "Thank you."

This time, L.joe returned the smile.

"Changjo's lucky to have you," He told me. I couldn't help but blush.

"Stop it," I laughed.

"By the way... Sunni doesn't want you to go. But I'll explain your situation to her," I told him.

"Why? does she like me?" He joked.

"Actually yes," I said bluntly. His eyes widened and I could see a hint of blush on his cheeks.

"Well, you better leave before you miss the bus," I giggled.

"Right. Goodbye then," L.joe extended his arms for a hug, and yes, I hugged him.
