Chapter 7

The next morning Soojung woke up extra early so she wouldn't have to walk to school with Changjo. She couldn't forget what happened last night. She could still smell his cologne and almost feel his lips that were going to almost touch hers.

Soojung's point of view

I seriously couldn't stop thinking of last night. He did that the first time we met but I hadn't paid any attention to it.

But this time...something's different. My heart thumped. Every time I think about last night my heart beat increases.

I called Sunni to walk with me this morning, She didn't want to at first but she then agreed.

"I can't believe that jerk did that! My Minsoo would never do that! That goes to say that I need to stay away from him or else," I told Sunni on our way to school. Sunni looked at me.

"Or else what? you'll like him?" She questioned. Almost seemed like was upset. What's up with her?

"No way! Never! He hates me anyways, but why did he do that? Why?" Frustrated, I kicked a rock that was in my way.

"Maybe he doesn't want you near him, so he did that to scare you away," Sunni said looking down at the ground as we walked. I thought about what Sunni had said but I didn't get why Changjo wouldn't want to be my friend.

"He is so weird seriously," I sighed. Arriving at school, I headed toward my locker.

I hope Minsoo came already, I hoped.

"Soojung!"

"Minsoo!" I smiled really wide when I saw him heading my way.

"I'm so happy to see you today," he smiled. I could feel myself blush.

"You have to eat lunch with me today. OK?" He smiled and moved a loose hair, that had fallen on my face, behind my ear

"Okay," I agreed.

strangely, in the corner of my eye I saw Chango...He was looking at us! I don't know why but I laughed randomly and play hit Minsoo on the arm as he just laughed along.

Changjo Point of view

I walked to school regretting what I had done to Soojung last night. Her reaction was funny though. As I made my way to class, I spotted soojung laughing with Minsoo. What's so great about that guy anyway? He's not even that good, why does she like him so much?

"Changjo, why were you making that kind of expression when you saw Soojung and Minsoo together?"

"Yah, what are you? Asking me that question aishh..." I said plugging in earphones, leaving to my class. Reasons I wear earphones, not only to listen to music but to also keep people from bothering me.

Soojung, this girl... she is very weird. She was sitting at her desk, phone in her hand, laughing. Not to mention she was also blushing. I kicked her chair, only to be faced by an annoyed Soojung.

"Changjo!" She whined. I looked away avoiding her eyes.

"Why did you do that? ah... you want to know who I'm texting?" She smirked.

I scoffed, "Did I say that?"

She cursed under her breath.

"I'm texting Bang Minsoo," She stuck her tongue out at me and turned back around.

"Actually, I didn't want to know," I said. She ignored me so I kicked her chair again.

"What?" Soojung faced me again. She looked pretty today.

"I- I was just was wondering if you wanted my numberrr..." my voice trailed off at the end.

"I'll pass, but thanks tho," she laughed to her self.

"Soojung?"

"What?" She turned back around.

"Eat with me at lunch, I have to tell you something," I said.

"Is that a offer or a command?" Soojung raised her eyebrows up.

"It's a command,"

"Oh so sorry! Minsoo already asked me to eat with him, maybe next time!" She turned back around, laughing. Minsoo.. I really don't like him.

I walked into the noisy cafeteria, my appetite immediately disappearing as soon I see Minsoo- and Soojung

"Minsoo!" Soojung walked toward Minsoo who was signaling for her to sit down at his table. When he saw Soojung coming he started cleaning around her spot. I rolled my eyes. Is he serious?

I watched as Soojung was almost near to the table when suddenly Park Rachel sat in her spot. Soojung just stood there for a while just staring. She didn't know what to do. Stupid.

"Yah, Rachel!" Minsoo scolded her but she didn't even blink.

Why am I so nice seriously. I got up from where I was and walked toward Soojung grabbing her wrist, pulling her along.

"Let's go," I whispered to her and pulled her to the outside cafeteria.

"I told you to eat lunch with me, didn't I?" I frowned. She smiled and let out a sigh.

"it's okay- I'm thankful," she sat down and looked up at me, who was still standing.

"Why are you thanking me for? I only did what I wanted," I said holding in the smile that wanted to spread across my face.

"Didn't you want to tell me something?" She asked after a while.

'I'm asking this because I'm curious," I started. I had been thinking about this for a whole week now.

"Go ahead," She said as she ate an orange. I wonder if this will sound strange.

"Tell me c'mon!" She said, impatiently.

"Have we ever met before? Even before I came to Seoul?" I asked. I watched as her expression fell and she looked straight into my eyes.

"What do you mean?"
