Chapter 5

"Are you okay?" Soojung asked Minsoo who only nodded. After they picked up her stuff from the ground they headed to class. 

"Is it true?" Minsoo asked Soojung while on their way to class.

"About what?" Soojung asked, confused.

"That you...like me?" He said scratching the back of his head looking a little nervous and awkward

"Yeah, I mean- who doesn't? You're hot!" Soojung accidentally blurted.

"What?" He looked confused and surprised.

"I mean- yes. ..I do," She turned completely red, wishing to die that very moment for saying what she had said

"Oh haha okay," he said awkwardly. Soon, they arrived at Soojung's next class and everyone was looking at them with wide opened eyes , whispering to each other,

-"Omg, seriously is that Soojung?"

-"Is she dating Bang Minsoo?"

-"No way! She's too ugly!"

Soojung heard them and of course was hurt by those hurtful words.

"I-  thanks,"she said and turned around to go into her class.

"Soojung wait!" Minsoo gently stopped her by grabbing her arm.

"Yeah?" She turned back to look at him.

"Do you want to eat lunch together?" He asked her

"Yeah! I'd love too!" She blurted out,"I- sure," her face flushed red again.

"You're cute," he chuckled as he ruffled her hair.

Soojung's heart was pounding like crazy that probably he heard it. The butterfly's in her stomach were becoming more and more. 

"See you later then!" He smiled and left. Sigh.

Will he ever be my boyfriend? Nah,  he's just being nice because he feels sorry and guilty, Soojung thought.

She then limped her way into her class, noticing that changjo was sleeping. 

"Changjo!" She shouted happily. Is he still mad? she asked herself. Ill just pretend nothing happened, she thought, after all it was her fault for pranking Changjo.

"Changjo wake up! Why are you sleeping on such a beautiful day?" Soojung said with a wide smile on her face. I hope he really isn't mad about the prank. Got to admit, it was really funny seeing his reaction.

"Whatever .." He plainly said and continued to sleep.

"Aish." Soojung took a sit beside him even though Changjo had told her to not show up in front of him as of that day. Soojung was more stubborn then a lost puppy following you home, so that wouldn't have worked anyway. 

He sat up slowly and looked out the window, seeing girls bullying another smaller & weaker girl, but you the identity of the bullied girl couldn't be seen.

"You're right. It is a beautiful day," He said sarcastically.

"Oh! Haha... that wasn't good timing," Soojung said looking out the window before facing changjo once again.

"Nope, it wasn't. Nice try though," he said with a straight face, "Didn't I tell you to not show your face in front of me again?"

"Aigoo, can you even smile?," Soojung softly nudged him with her elbow.

"Please leave me alone," said Changjo with an annoyed look. well he's being grumpy.

"Never!" Soojung evil laughed and did funny gestures that mad scientists would do in hopes of cheering him up. Changjo slightly smiled but went back to a straight face before Soojung saw that unwanted small smile that had formed on his face. 

Class was about to start when Sunni came in running, looking tired, sad, and angry at the same time.

"Sunni!" Soojung called to her, but Sunni took one glance at Soojung who sitting besides Changjo and sat on the opposite side of the room, ignoring her. Soojung tried to go sit beside her, but the teacher walked in ordering Soojung to go back to her previous seat.

"Yah! Lee Sunni ! What's wrong?" Soojung yelled across the room but Sunni just ignored her. The teacher shushed her, but Soojung, being stubborn, didn't stop trying even though Sunni just ignored her. The teacher warned her once again to shut up.

"She looks upset." Changjo said. Soojung looked at him, surprised that he talked to her. 

"What happened? She's never like this," Soojung sighed.

"Don't worr-...Never mind," Changjo stopped himself before continuing and instead laid his head down on his desk.
