Funeral

"Hey.."

Erin whispered as she placed her hand on his gravestone. She barely managed to speak, the lose of her beloved husband stirred up her throat.

"You saved me.. Your love saved me Jay.."

Treas stormed down the young detectives cheeks and she sobbed

"I never wanted to fall in love with anybody, because I was scared to get heartbroken. I had no trust in love or relationships until I met you. We became partners, you had been my backup, even through I never allowed you to drive!"

A sad smile approached her brims for a secound, she would do everything to let him drive right now.

"With every inch of my body Jay, I wished there was a way to bring you back. You should see our baby grow up. He or she will need her father and it breaks my heart, that you wont be there... Without you.. What reason has my life??"

With her right hand she wiped the treas away

"I will never love anybody the way I loved you... You are my soulmate, my better half. My heart is in this grave right beside you, forever and ever. I will try to be strong, for our baby."

She could feel the intelligence family staring at her and she sighed

"I wasn't ready to say goodbye okay?! You left to early and I can't imagine my life without you. You wasn't allowed to leave me!! There are so many things, we havent done..."

Treas stormed down her cheeks again and she looked down

"I love you Jay. I'm completely in love with you.... "

She placed her right palm on her small stomach and said

"We love you... I will tell her/him about you and how proud she/him could be, to call herself/himself your daughter/son. 1 week ago I lost my husband, best friend, partner and the father of my child, and somehow I lost a part of myself. You are the best thing that ever happened to me, and this will never change."

She was barely able to breath before she said

"Thank you Jay, for being the love of my life. And it breaks me apart to know that I will never see you again, that I can never look into your beautiful hazelnut eyes. With every inch of my body I try to avoid the fact that I lost you...."

She sobbed again

"I love you..."

She stayed silent for a couple of minutes, before she stood up. A last gaze on his grave before she walked towards her family, she didnt reach them. Her world cracked apart and she slumped down on the cold ground, she cried like never before. She felt two hands on her waist pulling her up and hugging her supportively, but nothing could stop the pain she felt. Hank held her in his arms and patted her back carefully, it broke his heart to see his kid like this, but there was nothing he could do.
