Justice

Today was the court hearing of Jay's murder, and it was a hard time for the brunette female. Of course she knew that her whole Intelligence family would be there and support her, but she wasn't emotional stability enough.

It was 4:30am when the alarm went, of and Erin stood up. Today was the day she thought as she stood up, she made her way into the bathroom and took a long shower. Of course she knew, that she couldn't stay in shower all day, but she need this right now.

"Erin??"

She heared Ruzek shouting out for her, he kept his promise to pick her up this morning and help her with everything.

"In the bedroom"

She was all dressed up and didn't care if he would come inside, her bedroom was no secret or something. She was about to get everything together, as the twins kicked her for the very first time

"Are you dressed??"

Ruzek asked all gentleman like and waited infront of the door before Erin opened the door and placed his hand on her stomach. Her features lighted up as the babies kicked her again, and she asked him

"Can you feel this too?? Thats.. It's beautiful"

She was all happy and for a while she forgot about  the court hearing. Also Ruzek smiled and nodded, they kicked Erin really strong.

"You two are really strong, and this is amazing. But it's not nice to kick your mom"

A heartily chlucke escaped her lips and she looked at him amused, it was nice how supportive he was.

"I think, that doesn't matter to them. Oh we should leave, we are running late"

They stopped infront of the law court, and all of the Intelligence team finally waited for them. As soon as they arrived the group of people, Antonio pulled her into his arms ad hugged her tightly.

"Hey Erin!"

He said before Stone and his team appeared and talked to them, she tried her best to keep her features all calm, but it didn't always work that well.

"We all understand how hard this will be today, but I promise you, that we will take every step together"

Stone said and his gaze rested on Erin, who held herself closed to Hank. She needed him right beside her right now.

"There is just one thing! We need your sidearms, you aren't allowed to wear them"

Anna said, and held a box in her hands. All of them raised their eyebrows confused and shaked her heads, but they put them into the box. Nobody expected that Erin had hers with her, so all of them where shooked when she pulled out her sidearm.

"What?!"

She asked with a innocent gesture, she was also allowed to wear hers always, she was a cop. But of course the truth was something else, on this special day.

"Let's get inside"

Stone said and started get inside the law court, many people had been already there, also their enemy. As soon as Erins gaze met the enemies, her serious fasade cracked apart. No one could see it, because Voight and Antonio held her close, but it felt like she falled apart into million pieces. They sat down and the hearing started, they started with the enemy Paul Davens, and the brunette detective was filled with anger from the lies he said. Each time she was about to say something, Stone placed his palm over hers to stop her.

"Now, Erin Lindsay-Halstead"

She bited her lip as she stood up and walked over to the seat, she held her hand up, and sweared to say just the truth. Her hazelnut orbs, rested on the Intelligence team.
