The next morning my mother work me up two hours earlier because she wanted to know what Brendan said to me. As irritated as I was I couldn't exactly get mad at her. She's my mom. Because of that I got ready earlier and left the house a whole hour earlier. The school doors were locked but the football field lights were on. Walking to the back of the school I saw the team practicing. I sat on the nearest bleacher and began to watch. Because of the noise our metal bleachers make, everyone's attention was on me. I didn't mind at all. It's not as if I'm a stranger. The coach saw their attention was somewhere else and gave them a five minute break. About five guys headed my way.

"We didn't schedule anything did we?" Axton asked sitting beside me. I responded with a shake of my head.

"How was it? Going to his house?" One guy asked a smug smirk on his face.

"Fine. His parents are nice," I answered making them snort

"No, they aren't. They hate everyone who comes near Axton," Another piped up

"Shut up. They just hate you guys because you're idiots," Axton said rolling his eyes. "I'll have you know my parents love Jacob."

"There's a shocking sentence," A guy said making the others laugh

Their break was over and they went back to practicing. I, however, left as soon as the school doors were opened. The sky began to get lighter after that. I went to my first period and sat there until the teacher arrived to open the door. She gave me an odd look which I understood. I'm earlier than the bus riders. I sat there for a while on my phone. The class slowly began to fill and finally, the first bell rang. She stood up to begin teaching but was interrupted by someone walking in. Axton gave a sorry look before walking over to me.

"You left your book on the bleachers," He said holding it

"You could've kept it until I came over tonight," I said absently trying to take it.

He quickly snatched it away with a smirk on his face. "Alright, then I'll keep this. It gives you an excuse to come over."

"I have to come over anyway. Keep it if you want," I said leaning back in my chair.

He had a smug look on his face as if he had thought of the idea himself. With that, he left and I was given a questioning look from my teacher. I shrug my shoulders in response because to be honest, I have no idea what happened. Class resumed as normal, which is fine and dandy with me. However, after class, some students shifted a little too close to my liking.

"May I help you?" I question a girl as she looks through my phone.

"You know Axton?" She asked and I nodded. "How?"

The bell rang before I could answer. I gave her a smirk and shrug my shoulders. I'm a horrible person. Walking to my next block I notice I get a few more glances than usual. Maybe I'm being paranoid. When I got to my next block there was a guy from this morning sitting next to my desk.

"I knew you were in my second block," He smiled. He pulled out his phone and took a picture of us together. "I'm sending this to Axton."

I sit at my seat and hear him burst out laughing which startles me to the point of a heart attack. Not really but I almost had one. I gave him a look and he showed me his phone. In response to the picture, Axton sent a short wya. I don't know how this is funny, though. So I look to the guy for help.

"It means he's jealous," He explained.

Axton was surprisingly here quicker than I thought. He saw for himself that I and this guy are indeed in the same block. He threw a little fit saying I shouldn't talk to Jaceson, the guy apparently, and that I should be focused on him. Which is downright ridiculous. Anyone eavesdropping would think me and Axton were dating. But he's just stupid.
