Saint - Finding the Normalcy Within the Abnormality

       Axton really cannot believe his luck sometimes. It was his first day at the University of Kansas and it couldn't have come at the worst time. Saint has been sick for the past few days. Since his fever keeps climbing they were going to go to the emergency room if it got any worse. The thing is he completely forgot that he had class today. He was glad he only has two classes today but he still wanted to be with Jacob. Whom of which is freaking out because he thinks Saint got sick because he had the air conditioning on in the apartment while he was giving him a bath. His first class of the day he was super anxious and couldn't keep his hands off his phone or not text Jacob for more than ten seconds. The professor walked through the doors causing everyone to put their stuff away.

       "Alright so there's only a few of you guys and we have two hours. I don't want to refer to you guys as numbers. That's rude you're paying me to educate you further than the minimum the least I can do is learn who you are," The professor said as he set his things down. "You. Start telling us a bit about yourself."

       Axton wanted to pay attention but after several students, he was back on his phone again. Jacob wasn't replying to any of his messages. It's one thing to be busy but jeez Jake it's his child too. He was on his phone every two seconds before long he was staring intensely at his phone a crease in his eyebrow causing early wrinkles. By this time the professor noticed his newfound troublemaker within the classroom and decided to call him out.

       "You who can't seem to stay off your phone. Introduce yourself," The professor demanded

       "My name is Axton Ohara-"

       "Stand."

       Axton let out a sigh and stood up. "My name is Axton Ohara spelled the Japanese way because I'm half Japanese. I have a four-month-old named Saint who is running an extremely high fever so I keep looking at my phone because my boyfriend is trying his best to keep me updated," Axton explained himself since he felt really attacked for no reason

       "Boyfriend but you have a son?" The professor inquired

       "Yea. Jacob's a hermaphrodite so he gave birth to our boy," Axton said with a proud smile.

       "How old is Jacob?"

       "He'll be eighteen the thirtieth of this month," Axton answered

       "So jailbait?" One random guy questioned

       "Age of consent in Kansas is sixteen. Trust me the hospital checked," Axton said with a slight laugh.

       At that moment the phone rang. He answered it immediately once he saw it was Jacob. There was a silence before Jacob went on and on about how they are both such first-time parents. He ended up going to the emergency room only to be told to give him a lukewarm bath and that should cool him down. The doctor told him if the fever doesn't go down in a few more weeks than to come back and Jacob was advised to dress him a little lighter because that was the cause. Jacob was dressing him too heavily. After hearing the explanation he laughed aloud causing Jacob to laugh on the other line. He asked about Saint who was sleeping as usual. He promised to bring food back home and Jacob apologized for calling in the middle of the class.
