It had not been hard at all for Axton to find another job so he now works throughout the week as well as on the weekends. It is safe to say I miss him. After he gets home from work usually around nine or ten pm he goes straight to sleep. I also have a small job at the library which I go to every other day so we don't have enough time for each other. Add the fact that he won't go any farther than a double hand job because he wants our baby to be safe it's getting to be a lot. Also, we're moving into our apartment in two weeks. His dad has given us an apartment and said we didn't have to pay rent on it until Axton's out of college and has his first real job. However, he already has a guaranteed job because my dad is willing to give him one right out of college. So in one sense we're pretty much set with life, however, in another, we're screwed.

Sitting behind the front desk at the library has become the highlight of my days. Why? Because this place has never once seen a checkout. Sure a lot of people come to read the books but they don't ever actually take them home. My legs and feet have become swollen so being able to just sit down and relax is amazing. My front is so heavy I feel as though my back will break with the slightest movement. Hopefully, Leon has been moving everything from Axton's room downstairs because that place is cramped with unboxed baby items and reeks of separation anxiety. The door bells jingle and I see Axton, still clad in his uniform, holding a vase filled with flowers.

"What're you doing here?" I question him giving him a kiss hello

"My boss allowed me to go home early today since I have to go to work earlier tomorrow," He explained. "So I thought I'd surprise you."

"Aren't you sweet," I say to myself sniffing the flowers.

Axton must've heard me because his smile grew wider. We chatted for a bit until my shift ended seeing as though my shift was almost over anyway. Deciding we haven't had enough time for ourselves we take this golden opportunity to go to the lake. It's been getting a lot warmer outside seeing as we're in March now but in the North, it doesn't get warm quickly. So as we sat on his hood taking in the scenery I had about twenty layers of clothes on while he had on nothing because he wanted to enjoy the breeze. Though we weren't speaking to each other I still feel as though the time we took right now is the time we needed to get us through these few weeks. Even though we aren't interacting it feels nice to know that he's there if I ever decide to say anything. It's nice to know he's with me right now.

"Axton," I called out to him burrowing my face into a scarf.

      "Hmm," He hums in reply

"Sometimes I think to myself; I really cannot live without you," I say to him and he turns to face me.

He tries to give me a kiss but I move away at the last minute. I get off the hood and get into the car. He follows me and starts the car. When we got to his house both of his parent's car were in the driveway which is understandable since it's only seven thirty. Walking inside you could hear chatter and smell Bianca's cooking. I waddle my way to the food because that is what my life has turned into. Food, Axton, and more food. My parents were there sharing a wine bottle with Axton's parents. I greet them with hugs before asking about dinner.

"Give it another thirty minutes dear," Bianca informs me

"Are you guys staying?" I ask my parents and they nod

"You know you never got back to me about moving back in with us," My mother said making me snort involuntarily

"There's no point now. We're moving in together in two weeks," I say motioning in between Axton and I. "That reminds me. Leon, did you get that crib out of our room?"
