Roommates (Pt. 4)

/a/n ok before i start this chapter i'm just letting you know that i am so sos sososo so sorry for putting this on hold. writer's block is honestly a bitch and also i've been super busy but that's no excuse. sorry again. enjoyyyy/

Jack woke up next to Mark. He smiled and sat up. He stretched and got out of bed. He went to the bathroom quickly before grabbing his laptop and bringing it to the couch. He just scrolled through various social medias and doing some homework in between it all.

He couldn't believe what had happened the night before. Although, he was definitely nervous for everyone else's response after he told them - or after they found out, whichever comes first.

Mark woke up a little later. He sat next to Jack on the couch and said a quick good morning which Jack responded to.

"So, what do you want to do today?" Mark asked a few minutes later, locking his phone and setting it face down on the table next to him.

Jack closed his laptop and let out a sigh, "I dunno."

"Well, until you leave to hang out with your friends tonight," Mark said.

"I kinda just want to stay here," Jack said, "Watch some Netflix or something?"

"Sounds good," Mark said.

"How about Stranger Things?" Jack said.

"Sure," Mark replied, "What interesting lives we live."

"Right?" Jack asked, chuckling a little.

They put it on, and time quickly passed until it was six o'clock and Jack was leaving.

Just before he opened the door Mark suddenly wrapped his arms around Jack, "Are you telling them today?"

"I don't know..." Jack said, "If it happens, it happens."

"Yeah," Mark sighed, "Good luck."

They pulled away, "Thanks. I'm gonna need it."

They shared a kiss and then Jack waved and left.

Jack met up with Skye to walk to their hangout together. Jack had yet to tell her the events of the night before, but he knew she'd soon ask.

As if reading his mind, Skye asked, "So what happened with Mark?"

Jack laughed, "Well, it didn't go down as horribly as I thought."

"What happened?!" She said, playfully hitting Jack's shoulder.

"When I came back he hugged me, told me he didn't hate me, came out as bi, and kissed me," Jack said.

Skye gasped, "Oh my God! I'm so happy for you!" She was grinning.

"Thanks," Jack said, laughing again, "But I might tell everyone else tonight. I'm so scared."

"I won't say anything," She said, "It's completely up to you, Jack. You don't have to if you don't feel comfortable."

"I just don't know how they'll react," Jack sighed, "They'll hate me."

"So what if they do?" Skye said, "I'm with you. If they're dicks, I'm sticking with you."

"Thank you, Skye," Jack said, "Thanks for being such a great friend."

"You're a great friend, too," Skye said, quickly side hugging Jack.

They soon arrived and joined the group. They were greeted with hello's and smiles.

They were just at the restaurant where they spent most of their time together.

They got their food and ate. Jack pretended to get involved in the conversations but the sinking feeling in his gut remained, causing him to only think about coming out.
